Differentiation

PART 1: Discuss the proportions of the face.


Have learners draw out the proportions into their
sketchbooks.
PART2: Discuss the work of MATISSE/ arbitrary
colour.
Learners will sketch selfportraits on A3 paper,
adding important details.
They will begin painting their
portraits using arbitrary
colour.
PART3: Learners will add
details and interesting
elements using chalk
pastels.
