Report:
• Profile student led initiatives – in/to churches, campuses, and communities
• Audience: campus admin, students (including highschool), churches, Christian
campus ministries on non-Christian campuses, public officials, secular envr
progressives
• Instead of choosing “top 3” reword to “profile” – everyone is at a different stage!
• Example of layout: 1 story/page; 2 stories/page; multiple
• Organize report by regions – pressures campuses to get in
• Regions: Canada, Pac NW, Southwest, Midwest, West, Southeast, Northeast
• Resources needed:
1. Intern to research, write, and publish (6 month position)
2. Additional interns to help with the website, writing, publicity (3 month
positions only)
• Potential partners: TV, Christian envr orgs like Au Sable and RE, CCCU, key
professors
Film:
• Include a film component/online media (“campus of the week” feature);
documentary on TV, in addition to DVD, could be potential financial resource
and outreach
• 30min-1hr main documentary, then smaller vignettes for youtube/website
• Video footage collected on tour
• Highlight some schools – “top 5” – but still include more
• Also ask people to comment on why the envr is important to them, share personal
stories
• Requires additional film/documentary intern
Timeline:
• Jan – release job descriptions, interviews through Feb
• Feb – wrap up report project manager search and selection
• Mar – project manager and film intern start; additional interns hired (campus tour)
• Apr – (campus tour)
• May – interns start, finish up research and a report outline
• June – rough draft by end of the month
• July – final draft sent in by the end of the month
• Aug – report released before Sep! (stagger release of the film/report or together?)
