Conflict between Bella de Guzman and Frank de Ocampo which disrupts


work flows in their department

IV. OBJECTIVE

 To resolve/ reduce conflicts between the two without having to


choose one over the other

V. AREAS OF CONSIDERATION

 Both Bella and Frank are important to the bank

 Bella and Frank had both strong personalities

VI. ALTERNATIVE COURSES OF ACTION

1. Establish a rules & policy concerning ethics and behavior in the


workplace.

Advantages:
 Clear understanding of behavioral and ethical standards required in
the workplace
 Employees will be guided on how to act and behave in the
workplace
 Since violations to policies are punishable, employees are forced to
adhere to it.

Disadvantages:
 Creates negative connotation
 Sometimes it creates barrier to organizational goals

2. Establish a spirit of team-work by conducting team building activities.

Advantages:
 Provides leadership in addressing diversity
 Bind workers and company’s commitment to mutual success and
growth
 Creates harmonious working environment and resolves conflicts
naturally

Disadvantages:
 Costly on the part of the company
 Employees may not sustain on this type of culture
