2. Opening Speech by Saw Lwin Oo- National President AKO Inc.

3. Dance item by AKCO Youths.

4. Key Note Address by Mr. Laurie Ferguson, MP - Parliamentary Secretary for


Multicultural Affairs and Settlement Services.

5. Done dance item by Karen Youths of the Chester Hill High School.

6. Speech by Mr. Justin States –Representative of the Hon. Julie Bishop MP- Deputy
Leader of the Opposition and Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs.

7. Refugee experience sharing by Naw Paw Law Eh Win Sein.

8. Speech by Mr. Mark Lack- Councillor and Manager Community Relations-AMEP,IHSS

9. Song item by the Burmese Christian Church Worship Team.

10. Speech by Dr. Kyaw Myint –President of Burma Campaign Sydney.

End of program and refreshment will be served while entertainment program begins.
The aims of the celebration is to bring refugees from different countries together; to show our sincere
thanks to Australian Refugee Resettlement Program and IHSS service providers for the smooth
settlements; and to raise awareness for the need of Cross-border humanitarian assistance for the
internally displaced Karen people of the Karen of Eastern Burma.
