LAUREL, NEW JERSEY Funds raised from the 2010 Golf Outing will be used to support organizations that provide recreational, development, and educational activities for children and youth in Camden City. An example of those organizations is: Providence Above Poverty Providence Above Poverty operates a youth basketball program which gives girls and boys in Camden City a chance to play basketball, experience teamwork, and strengthen their self esteem. It has grown to over 90 players on eight teams and has continual needs for uniforms, transportation and equipment. Additionally, this year we will be supporting the new community dental clinic at the Cathedral Kitchen on Federal Street in Camden City. This new endeavor is aimed at providing dental services to residents and homeless persons not usually able to get such assistance.
