This Indenture made the twenty fourth day of October one thousand Eight hundred and thirty three
between Vincent Parks of the Town of Novi and County of Oakland and Territory of Michigan of the first
part and Smith Parks of the Town of Novi in the County of Oakland and Territory of Michigan of the
second part witnesseth that the said party of the first part in consideration of the sum of one hundred
dollars paid in hand by the party of the second part hath sold and by these presents doth grant and
convey to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of Land
situated in the Town of Novi known and distinguished as follows the East half of the North East quarter
of Section Twenty one in Township one North of Range Eight East in the District of Lands subject to
sale at Detroit Michigan Territory containing Eighty Acres To have and to hold the same with all the
privileges thereto belonging to h[im] the said Smith Parks and his heirs and assigns forever the party of
the first part doth warrant and defend the above described premises to the party of the second part and to
his heirs for Ever against all Lawful claims

November in the year 1833 personally came before me Vincent Parks known to me to be the same
