Objectives of the course

• Familiarize the participants with the business opportunities provided by


Canada and the NAFTA Region
• Learn how business is conducted in a foreign country
• Experience a foreign culture (Including art, language, food, etc)
• Develop a dialogue with business leaders and other professionals in
a foreign culture
• Visit a manufacturing facility in a different business and cultural setting
• Network with business people in Canada

Saturday, September 25:

Arrival in Toronto and accommodations at the Park Hyatt-Toronto.

UTD EMBA participants will have the opportunity to socialize and network with Rotman EMBA
students

Sunday, September 26:

Exploring the dynamic culture of Toronto (day visit)

Lecture: NAFTA and Business Sustainability

- Economic overview of Canada


- Entrepreneurial development in Canada
- Financial challenges and opportunities in Canada
