Why Space Adjacency Analysis??
• the conversion of written information into graphic
form
• transformation of various kinds of information
into visual images ( context/site analysis)
• diagramming expresses project requirements for
design thinking
• graphic refinement of diagrams makes them
more readable and useful but also provides the
opportunity to mentally engage with the drawings
for design synthesis.
• provides a rationale for justifying the design.
