facts you got wrong or didn’t
complete.

which is an online Maths
programme. (Link off the
homework blog). This coming
week is deemed a practise
week then next week is
challenge week! We would
like to encourage as many
children as possible to visit
this site at home and
participate in the challenge.
• There is also a great
website (BBC Kids games)
linked to the homework site
which includes literacy,
maths and science activities.

Tips for Quality Homework
• Colourful headings
• Use HB pencil
• Coloured pencils for headings
etc
• Rule off.
• Try your hardest with spelling
and neatness.
Task 2. Reading:
Read each night for at least 10 minutes. Discuss
your reading.
Task 3. Spelling:
1. Learn your spelling words for Friday’s
spelling Test.
2. This week’s spelling is also on Spelling
City. Keep a list of which games or activities
you did.

3. Each night write 3 good questions or
sentences in your HOMEFUN notebook.
Each one should use one of your spelling
words. Challenge yourself to make them
as funny or interesting as you can.
Notebooks come back to school every day.
Put the date, use capital letters and other
punctuation in the correct places. Underline
the spelling words used. Write neatly and
check your work!
Task 4:
Explore the Mathletics and BBC websites with
your parents.
