Float in Parade ~ 9:30 a.m.
Alums can ride on the NMCC float, or
bring the family to watch the parade fea-
turing firefighters from across the state,
and many other local entries.

Parade ~ Begins at 9:30 a.m.
The P. I. Fire Department is hosting a parade to kick off
the 47th Annual Maine State Federation of Firefight-
ers Convention. There will be parade entries by fire
departments from across the state, as well as a variety
of local entries. The parade will go from UMPI to the
Fairgrounds.

Alumni Soccer Game Displays/Demos, Rides & More

1:00 p.m.
A team of alums will play the current
NMCC soccer team on the College’s
soccer field. Alums are invited to either
join the team or come cheer on the play-
ers. If you want to play on the alum team,
contact Cindy at 768-2839.
Begins after the Parade at Fairgrounds
Check out the displays and demonstrations, have a
ride on Big Red (a fire truck monster truck), and meet
Randolph Mantooth (from “Emergency”). Take part in a
service in memory of firefighters who died on Septem-
ber 11 and Maine firefighters who died this year.
Bob Marley Performance
Begins at 8:30 p.m. at the Forum
Come enjoy comedian Bob Marley. Tickets are $15.

NMCC Soccer Game Firemen’s Muster
Come cheer on the Falcons as they play Begins 9:00 a.m. at Fairgrounds
Eastern Maine Community College at Come watch this competition in four different events
between fire departments from across the state.
