Combination makes sense for your Scion tC. They improve handling and give you that
low, aggressive look to complement large-diameter wheels and high-performance tires.
And because they’re TRD, you know they’ll fit right the first time.

These high-strength-steel dampers are gas-filled and tuned by TRD to deliver a firm, yet
comfortable ride while adding to your handling precision. In fact, your actual ride height is
easily adjustable, allowing you to drop the front end from 1- to 2 3/8-inches, and the rear
from 1- to 2-inches – think of it, now you have the freedom to set the look and handling

balance you prefer, without exceeding factory alignment parameters.

Plus, these coil-over shocks look as good as they perform. Take the springs – they’re
high-tensile, cold-wound, shot-peened spring steel that are powder-coated red for long-term
Scion tC corrosion protection (and so they look hot). Spring rates are stiffened to 250 lbs./inch in
front and 400 lbs./inch in rear for reduced body roll in hard cornering while still providing
a comfortable, compliant ride.

TRD Lowering Springs, resulting in quicker turn-in, enhanced steering response and

Tested rigorously through the slalom, on the skid pad and around a high-speed road course,
the TRD Lowering Springs are engineered to not rattle, clunk or rub, even when pushed

TRD Sport Parts are warranted for 12 months or 12,000 miles from the
date of installation or for the balance of the new car warranty in force
on the date of installation, whichever is greater, when TRD Sport Parts
are installed by an authorized Toyota or Scion Dealer. Superchargers
carry the same warranty, but the coverage is 12 months or 12,000
miles from the date of installation or the balance of the new car 5 year,
60,000 mile powertrain warranty in force at the time of installation.
This warranty does not cover maintenance services such as replacement
of brake pads/linings and clutch linings. This warranty does not cover
noise, vibration, cosmetic conditions and other deterioration caused
by normal wear and tear.
TRD customers are responsible for ensuring that the use of any TRD
Sport Part complies with all applicable federal, state or local laws,
regulations and ordinances.
TRD Sport Parts NOT INSTALLED BY A DEALER
TRD Sport Parts installed by anyone other than an authorized Toyota
or Scion dealer are warranted for 12 months or 12,000 miles from
the date of purchase only and the warranty coverage is limited to the
replacement value of the TRD Sport Part. Superchargers carry the
same coverage.
This warranty does not cover maintenance services such as replacement

by anyone other than an authorized Toyota or Scion dealer may void

regulations and ordinances.
RACE OR OFF-HIGHWAY USE PARTS
Race or Off-Highway Use Parts have no warranty. Should any Race or
Off-Highway Use Parts shown in this catalog prove defective following
their purchase, the buyer and not the manufacturer, distributor, dealer
or retailer, shall assume the entire cost of all necessary servicing or
repair of the defective part and of any damage that may have been
caused by the defective part. The buyer assumes the entire risk as
to the performance of such parts. To the fullest extent permitted by
applicable federal, state, local or other law, TRD expressly disclaims
the implied warranties of merchantability and of fitness for a particular
purpose, even if this catalog or any other materials mention a particular
purpose for a Race or Off-Highway Use Part. TRD also disclaims
all liability for direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential
damages, including, but not limited to, damage to or loss of personal
property, loss of profits or revenue, cost of purchase of replacement
goods, or claims of customers of the purchaser that result from the
use of any and all Race or Off-Road Use Parts contained in this catalog.
Race or Off-Highway Use Parts are for race or off-highway purposes
only. Vehicles equipped with Race or Off-Highway Use Parts should
not be operated on public roads. TRD offers Race or Off-Highway
Use Parts for track or off-highway competitive or performance use
only. Installation of any Race or Off-Highway Use Part on a vehicle
operated on public roads may violate federal, state or local laws or
regulations including, but not limited to, emission requirements and
motor vehicle safety standards. In California these parts may legally
be used only on a racing vehicle that will never be operated on public
roads. In addition, federal statutes, regulations and laws in many
states prohibit the removal, modification, alteration or disconnecting
of any parts or elements of a vehicle’s design affecting emissions or
safety on vehicles intended for use on public streets or highways.
TRD customers are responsible for ensuring that the use of any TRD
Race or Off-Road Use Part complies with all applicable federal, state
or local laws, regulations and ordinances.
Installation of Race or Off-Highway Use Parts may adversely affect
the warranty coverage on your vehicle. The addition of Race or
Off-Highway Use Parts on a vehicle is not covered by the vehicle
warranty and any failure that they may cause is also not covered by
the vehicle warranty.
Race or Off-Highway Use Parts may not be installed by a Toyota or
Scion dealer on a vehicle intended for use on public roads. Race or
Off-Highway Use Parts should not be sold or financed in conjunction
with the sale of a new vehicle.
