Print Audit 6 Sample Reports
There are two main reporting applications available within Print Audit 6. These are the Job Manager and Analysis
Reporting.
Job Manager
The Print Audit 6 Job Manager allows you to quickly
build custom reports based on the jobs in your
database. The reports can include any of the fields of
data collected by Print Audit. Once you design a report
you like you can save the report definition so you can
easily create it again.
You can use the Job Manager to create three types of

reports:
 Summary Report - This report allows you to

report on total job costs and volumes.
 Full Report - This report allows you to report

detailed information along with a breakdown of
total job costs and volumes.
 Detail Report - This report allows you to report

detailed print job information in a sorted format
but with no totaling.
Please note: The Job Manager can only create reports that deal with the specifics of your print job information. For in-depth
analysis reports designed to summarize your printing information you can use the Print Audit Analysis Reporting tool.

Analysis Reporting
The Analysis Reporting tool can be used to produce
summary reports for total print volumes and associated
costs. You can create reports to determine your highest
volume printers, distribution of job sizes, percentage of color
vs black and white printing, etc.
Within the Analysis Reporting tool, all printer and user

volumes can be filtered and grouped according to specific
criteria that you can customize to your organizations needs.
The Printer Grouping and Filtering tab displays all printers

in your Print Audit database. You use this tab to arrange
printers into reporting groups or cost centers, as well as
selecting which printers/groups you want to include in your
reports. You can also use this tab to enter an estimated cost
per page for the printer.
The User Grouping and Filtering tab displays all users in your Print Audit database.
You can use this tab to group your users any way that makes sense for your
organization. You could group them by last name, or by department, etc.
Analysis Reporting uses a Wizard which provides a list of preset report formats for
reporting of volumes and ROI by both user and printer. These reports are designed to
help condense and analyze the large amounts of data collected by the Print Audit
Client.
Please note: Analysis Reporting does not give the user access to detailed information
regarding individual print jobs. To produce reports that include these kinds of details,
please use the Print Audit 6 - Job Manager.
