Morning Program (Auditorium)

9:00am – The mass started at the auditorium attended by the students. It


ended by around 10:30am.

10:30am – The program committee started to prepare for the program. Props
were displayed at stage. The program was started with the opening ceremony
of National Anthem and Olivarez College hymn lead by the students. Dr.
Avelino de Chavez gave opening remarks. Mrs. Carabeo, Filipino professor,
revealed the criteria for the Isahang Pag-aawit and Talumpatian categories.

10:45 am – There are eleven contestants from different departments who were
initially selected on the previous program last August 14, 2010 for the Isahang
Pag-awit category. Two from the Nursing Council bets remained for the Finals:
John Eldrine Dabao, 4th year BSN student and Jonner Maturan, a 2nd year BSN
student, as well.

12:00 pm – There are seven contestants from different departments who were
initially chosen for the Talumpatian category Two from the Nursing Council
bets remained for the Finals: Celina Bianca Sia and Hernan Casipit, both 4th
year Nursing students.

12:30 pm – An entertaining dance number were presented by the students who


were initially eliminated from the Folk Dance category.

12:35 pm – Judges of the said program were introduced to the audience. They
eventually announced the winners on Isahang Pag-aawit and Talumpatian
categories by Mr. Zernan Dimaiwat, Dean of Office of Student Affairs. Jonner
Maturan garnered 94.93% for the 1st place in Isahang Pag-awit. Hernan Casipit
attained the 2nd place for the Talumpatian category.
12:45 pm – The morning program ended. The program committee announced
that winners for Pagsulat ng Sanaysay category will be announced in the
afternoon program together with the Folk Dance.
