CHECK-LIST FOR FIRE SAFRTY INSPECTION

5 Whether any loose wiring, loosely fitted plug or socket or
temporary extension point is noticed.
6 Whether any sparking is observed in the electrical circuits.
7 Whether any packing cases / packing materials are stored in
office spaces or operational areas or terraces.
8 Whether any Smoking (Cigarette /Bidi) observed in the Office
area.
9 Whether AC & DC cables are laid separately
10 Whether Fire Safety Officers & Floor Wardens have been
nominated
11 Whether periodic Fire drills are being conducted.
12 Whether Fire buckets (Sand & Water) are available
13 Whether Keys of all locked rooms are identified and kept with the
designated person.
14 Whether FIRE BRIGADE number is displayed and available with
the Staff & the Security Guard.
15 Whether Fire Exit route is marked & properly displayed
16 Whether Fire safety instructions are displayed
17 Whether Fire safety card/instructions have been issued to each
employee/staff
18 Whether Window ACs are running continuously
19 Whether action for replacement of Window with split AC has been
taken
20 Whether any protective device or fuses are bypassed
21 Whether Earthing resistance is measured periodically and
maintained in a Log-book
