The September 18th of 2010 marks the third anniversary of the Saffron Revolution spearheaded by the
Buddhist monks and the twenty-two years of the tyrannical military rule in Burma.

We, Buddhist monks and democratic forces, are planning to stage a peaceful protest in front of the White
o in hing on D.C. In i mb y Chin mb y n h mi i ry r gim ’ mb y wi h
hundreds of freedom activists and supporters on September 18, 2010. This protest aims to commemorate
the 3rd anniversary of 2007 Saffron Revolution, call for the U.S. government and international community to
boy o h mi i ry r gim ’ h m ion n on mn h mi i ry r gim ' ongoing h m n righ
violations.

We invite you to join our freedom movement in support of the ongoing political struggle of the Burmese
people inside Burma. Let us stand up and make our voices heard so together we bring freedom to Burma.

Please join the protest at this indicated time and place:

When: 3:00 p.m., September 18, 2010 (Saturday)


Where: The White House (Lafayette Park Square), 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C. 20500

Program schedule in details:

1. All activists coming out of Washington Metropolitan areas please arrive at 5951 Halpine Road,
Rockville, MD 20851 at noon on September 18, 2010. At 12:30 p.m. lunch will be served and depart
to the White House at 1:15 p.m. by metro or cars. The peaceful protest in the front of the White
House will start sharply at 3:00 p.m.
2. Depart from the White House at 4:00 p.m. - a peaceful walk to embassies.

3. At India Embassy (2107 Massachusetts Avenue, N.W., Washington, DC 20008) - 5:00 p.m. - 5:15 p.m.

4. At Chinese Embassy (2201 Wisconsin Avenue, N.W., Washington D.C. 20007) - 5:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

5. At Burmese Embassy (2300 S Street NW, Washington, DC 20008-4016) - 6:15 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
