As agreed, I attach my manuscript notes of a short meeting that took place

on Friday 18 July in the PUS's office after his regular 10.00 meeting .
Michael Jay had asked William Ehrman, John 5c¢rlett, John Williams and me
to
stay behind for a brief word about the breaking news that David Kelly had
gone missing .

I question the relevance of these notes (which were for my own purposes -
not an official record) to the Hutton inquiry. But here they are for what
they are worth . I am happy to explain them to anyone who might be
interested, as they are probably indecipherable to anyone other than me.
