Winners Lacrosse:
Winners Lacrosse operates with the intention of spreading the history,
values, and skills of lacrosse to Greater Washington metropolitan area youth.
In addition, through instruction, the program seeks to foster values.

Dean returned to running in 2005 after three hip surgeries over the
previous two years. Named 2007 Mid-Atlantic USATF Long
Distance Runner of the Year, Dean attended Rutgers University,
graduating with a BA in 1993. She then earned a M.Ed. and Ph.D.
from Temple University. Dean finished an impressive 29th place
overall at the 2008 Women’s Marathon Olympic Trials in Boston,
MA. She's now a postdoctoral fellow performing research at the
University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

Mosop made his marathon debut with a 10th place showing with a
time of 2:15:57 at the highly competitive Standard Chartered
Nairobi Marathon in 2008. He has a certificate in masonry and was
a potato farmer until 2006 when he, at age 28, started to train as an
athlete fulltime. David is working with the Penny School Project,
which builds schools near Eldoret through funds raised in USA
elementary and high schools in a national competition.
