Bob Turner, Challenger to Congressman Weiner, gets Giuliani Endorsement

GLENDALE, NY, September 23, 2010-- Former New York Mayor and 2008 Presidential Candidate Rudy Giuliani
has endorsed Bob Turner for Congress to represent the 9 th Congressional District which includes parts of Queens
and Brooklyn.

Giuliani said, "Bob Turner is a brilliant businessman who has created many jobs and will help put people back to
work.  I endorse Bob Turner simply because he will provide business leadership in Washington that is much
needed.”

Turner said, “I am delighted to have the support of America’s Mayor Rudy Giuliani. As a businessperson and
political newcomer, I look forward to conferring with Rudy throughout my campaign for his valuable advice and
counsel.”

Turner has lived his entire life in the neighborhoods of the 9th District. He was raised in Woodhaven as the eldest
of three sons, and raised his own family in Richmond Hill. He now resides in Rockaway Point.

He spent 40 years of his career in the highly competitive television industry. His first job was as a clerk for ABC-
TV, launching a rewarding career in broadcasting, advertising, TV program production and distribution. As
President, CEO or Chairman, Turner has started up and managed companies large and small. While his family
life was centered on the Ninth District, Turner’s career took him around the globe as he conducted business and
formed programming partnerships in places from Tbilisi to Delhi, Manila to Moscow. He is a U.S. Army veteran
(1962-64, Rank SP5, Honorable Discharge).
