Project Undertaken

Project Title : Cross-Layer Interaction of TCP and Ad Hoc Routing

Protocols in Multihop IEEE 802.11 Networks
Tool : NS2
Detail : This project deals with cross-layer interaction between TCP
and routing protocols in the IEEE 802.11 ad hoc network.
TCP flows show that the AIMD behavior of the TCP
window mechanism is aggressive for a typical multihop
IEEE 802.11 network with a low-bandwidth-delay product.
We propose two complementary mechanisms, that is, the
TCP FeW scheme and ROBUST policy.
