The Oregonian (through Mr. Beaven's interviews with David Hartmann) and the Outlook (through Shannon Wells
original contact and my comments to Outlook articles) were aware of Matt Wand's colorful history subverting the 3
ZESC energy development proposals and Wand/Troutdale's actions to arrange for the seizure of a private asset .....
while Mr. Wand portrayed himself in his Oregon House race as a dynamic leader for truth and goodness.

Without explanation of the contradiction, the Oregonian and the Outlook endorsed Mr. Wand for HD 49.

The record is that Mr. Wand engaged in such damaging behavior upon me, a constituent, that I had to hire an
independent firm to unravel the ______ ( see second attached, slide 20). Wand's libel was so extreme and
destructive that it could be undone no other way.

Does this sound like the candidate that was described and endorsed to the readers of the Oregonian and Outlook?

Where, in these endorsements, was it acknowledged that Mr. Wand and Troutdale filed charges that resulted in no
charges but the seizure of private assets worth more than 5x the the city budget?

The news services of the region, who had the information, helped not at all by failing to hold Mr. Wand to account
for the record for libel and deception and collusion to seize private assets that Mr. Wand created in his
capacity as a public official.

It is my opinion that by disregarding the record that was contradictory to the stories these editors wished,
these editors purposely misled the public.
