Course Objectives:
This course is designed to increase knowledge in the area of piping in general and power piping in specific.
This advanced, fast-paced program provides the participants with working knowledge of the design
philosophy and engineering practices employed in the design, fabrication and erection/commissioning
requirements of power pipings. Many of the derivations of the formulas used in ASME Section 31.1 are
discussed to satisfy design and construction requirements on practical grounds. Hands-on design problem
