Example Rules of Integars


Simplify: -3(2-4) - (-2+6) - The product or quotient of two positive integars
= -3(-2) – (2) - The product or quotient of two negative integars
=6–2 is a positive integar
=4 - The product or quotient of a positive integar and
a negative integar is a negative integar
