Kabayan Noli, Korina to return to Newscast 'TV Patrol'

ABS-CBN announced on Wednesday that veteran broadcast journalists Noli de Castro

and Korina Sanchez will be returning to TV Patrol on November 8, Monday.

"For the first time, three respected news icons in Philippine broadcast journalism are
joining forces to strengthen “TV Patrol,” ABS-CBN’s flagship newscast and the leading
news program in the country for the past 23 years," the country's largest broadcast
network said in a statement.

"Starting November 8, Korina Sanchez and Noli 'Kabayan' De Castro will return to
television to join Ted Failon in 'TV Patrol' to form the most tried and tested news team
ever assembled in the history of Philippine broadcasting," ABS-CBN said.

ABS-CBN said "de Castro returns with a wider knowledge of the workings of
government after his stint as vice president of the Philippines."
TV Patrol Trivia: TV Patrol is the flagship national network news broadcast of ABS-
CBN in the Philippines. It is aired Weeknights at 6:30-8:00 PM, Saturdays at 6:00-6:30
PM and Sundays at 6:30-7:00 PM. It can be heard simultaneously in DZMM its TV
counterpart, DZMM TeleRadyo and the network's provincial radio stations in Cebu,
Catbalogan and Davao. It is also aired worldwide via The Filipino Channel. It has been
the longest running Filipino evening primetime newscast after its inception in 1987.
