    Smukiez Choir is the official choir of SMAK 1 PENABUR Jakarta, established in 1986. They have achieved success in numerous national and international competitions, including earning silver at the 2007 Asian Choir Games. The choir regularly competes nationally, winning titles at competitions such as the Festival Paduan Suara Universitas Tarumanegara. Internationally, they have participated in competitions like the 1st Asian Choir Games and 1st ITB International Choir Competition. In addition to competitions, Smukiez Choir performs for school and community events.

    The Official Choir of SMAK 1 PENABUR Jakarta

    Short Profile
    Smukiez Choir is one real expression of SMAK 1 PENABUR Jakarta's students' love of
    singing. Established in 1986, we have managed to express that love, by getting
    SMUKIEZ CHOIR achievements in numerous competitions, in national and international level. Smukiez
    Choir have also participated and gained achievements in some editions of Bandung
    SMAK 1 PENABUR Jakarta
    Jalan Tanjung Duren Raya No 4 Technological Institute Choir Festival (FPS ITB) and its inaugural edition of the
    Jakarta Barat, 11470, Jakarta International Choir Competition (IICC) in 2010. Smukiez Choir achieved its best in 2007
    INDONESIA
    T 62-21-566-6962 by getting the Silver Medal at the Asian Choir Games, inducting Smukiez Choir to the
    smukiezchoir@gmail.com Top 1000 World Choir by MusicaMundi in 2008. With our high spirit and commitment,

    Smukiez Choir regularly participate in respected national choir competitions. We already
    have some titles, medals, and diplomas from national choir competitions such as the
    Festival Paduan Suara Universitas Tarumanegara (highest: Grand Champion, 2006) and
    the Festival Paduan Suara Institut Teknologi Bandung/FPSITB.

    International Choir Competitions


    Not only in national level, Smukiez Choir have took part in some international choir
    competitions. In the last 3 years we have participated in two of them: the 1st Asian Choir
    Games (Jakarta, Indonesia, 2007) and the 1st ITB International Choir Competition
    (Bandung, Indonesia, 2010); earning respected achievements.

    Other Events
    Besides competitions, Smukiez Choir perform in numerous events, ranging from school
    activities, public performances (Christmas Caroling, etc), devotional services in Churches
    across Jakarta, and in joint school concert. We are currently planning for a Silver
    Anniversary Concert in 2011.
