• Perceptual Motor Intervention (OT Guidelines 2004)
– Goal: Improve catching
• Break task into:
• Visual-spatial skills (find ball in space)
• Visual-motor skills (direct movement in space)

• Start with large/light weight ball progress


towards catching with glove and tee-ball
