Flight Log
‘SpektrumS Flight Log (SPM9540} is compatible withthe ARO100 PowerSafe.
The Flight Log displays overall RF lnk performance as wel s the individual
intemal and external receiver ink data. Aditionally it displays receiver voltage.
Using the Flight Log
‘Aer a fight and before turning of he receiver or transmit, plug the Fight Log
int the Data port onthe PaverSafe, The screen wil automatically display voltage
9, 612-62 vols,
Not: When the voltage reaches 48 vols ores, the soreen wil ash inicating
low votage.
Press the buton to display te following information:
‘A Alena fades on antenna &
B- Antenna fades on antenna B
LL- Antenna fads onthe lef antenna
i Antenna fades onthe right antenna
F - Frame loss
H- Holds
‘Aina fades—represets the loss of bit f information on that specific antenna,
‘Typical it normal to have as many as 80 to 100 antenna fades during a fight
If any single antenna experiences over 500 fades ina single tight, the antonna
should be repositioned in the atrat to optimize the RF link
Frame loss—represens simultaneous antenna fades onal attached receivers.
the RF link is performing optimally, rame losses pe fight should be less than 20.
‘The antenna fades thal caused the fame loss are recorded and will be added tothe
total antenna fades,
|Aold cccurs when 45 consecutive frame losses occur This takes about one
second, Ifa Hold occurs during a igh, its important to reevaluate the system,
‘moving he antennas to diferent locations andor check tobe sue the transmiter
and receivers ar all working correctly. The frame losses that led to the hod are
sot added tothe total ram loses.
ole: A servo exension canbe use to allow the Fight Log to more convenient be
lugged in without having to remove te airats hatch or canopy. On some models,
the Fight Log canbe plugged in, tached and et on the model using double-sided
‘ape. This is common wit helicopters, mounting te Fight Log conveniently (othe
