Excel chart (copied & pasted into a Word file) showing NAR data (now adjusted to a 3-month rolling average) NAR data vs. Case-Shiller 20-city HPI data of prices on existing U.S. home sales since 2008, with Feb-08 as the "Month 0" datapoint based on both NAR & Case-Shiller prices from Dec-07, Jan-08, & Feb-08.
Note that the adjusted rolling averages NAR data have been done with simple averages, as opposed to weighting each of the 3 months according to sales volume. I don't think this should result in too noticeable of a difference.
