WINTER HAVEN, FL─ January 12, 2011─ Residents, visitors, and businesses can see all
Winter Haven has to offer via the new Video Tourbook that is now live on the city’s official website
- www.mywinterhaven.com.

Featured are 10 one-minute professionally produced videos covering a range of topics, including:
Lakes, Shopping and Dining, Tourism, and Economic Development, as well as a welcome with an
introduction by Mayor Jeff Potter.

The community videos, produced free for the City, feature logos and videos of 35 local business
sponsors of the project. As the City’s website holds the number one position in Google during a
search for “Winter Haven, FL,” each business receives exposure to prospective residents, visitors
and businesses from around the world.

City staff worked with CGi Communications over the past six months to develop this unique visual
opportunity demonstrating Winter Haven’s unique lifestyle. Communications/Marketing Division
Director Donna Sheehan is pleased with the result. She commented, “We are excited to add this
option to our Website. With just a click, anyone can view these striking videos that show what
makes Winter Haven the preferred place to live, work, play and raise a family.”

The videos were produced by CGI Communications, an internet marketing company based in
Rochester, NY, that produces nearly 10,000 videos and other products each year for
municipalities, chambers of commerce, professional trade associations and private sector
business in the U.S. and Canada. CGI recently completed its first production featuring a
community in the United Kingdom.

CGI Vice President, Nicole Rongo, says the company is currently working with more than 40
municipalities and chambers of commerce in Florida. “The feedback has been very positive from
our other Florida communities,” says Rongo, “and we hope it’s just as successful for Winter
Haven.”
