Perumpamaan orang-orang yang dipikulkan kepadanya taurat, kemudian mereka tiada memikulnya
adalah seperti keldai yang membawa kitab-kitab yang tebal. Amatlah buruknya perumpamaan kaum yang
mendustakan ayat-ayat allah itu. Dan allah tiada memberi petunjuk kepada kaum yang zalim. (62:5)

THE REASON OF REVELATION THIS VERSE:

• Ibn Abi Hatim mengemukakan riwayat daripada Muqatil bin Hayyan, katanya: Nabi SAW
dan orang- orang Yahudi saling berdamai di antara satu sama lain. Tetapi tindakan
orang- orang Yahudi, apabila terdapat salah seorang dari kalangan para sahabat yang
melintas di hadapan mereka, mereka akan duduk di kalangan mereka sambil berbisik-
bisik di antara mereka sehingga orang mukmin yang melintas di hadapan mereka
tersebut menyangka bahawa mereka sedang membuat perbincangan rahsia untuk
membunuhnya atau untuk melakukan suatu tindakan yang tidak disukainya. Lalu Nabi
SAW melarang mereka daripada berbisik- bisik, tetapi mereka tidak mahu berhenti
melakukan perbuatan tersebut. Lalu Allah SWT menurunkan firmanNya seperti di atas.
 Rasulullah mentioned in the hadith:
1. Diriwayatkan daripada Ibnu Umar RA, bahawasanya
Rasulullah SAW bersabda: “Apabila mereka tiga maka
janganlah dua berbisik- bisik tanpa melibatkan yang
ketiga”…(HR Bukhari & Muslim)

Diriwayatkan daripada Abdullah Ibnu Mas’ud RA, ia

berkata, Nabi SAW bersabda: “Apabila kamu sedang
bertiga, maka janganlah berbisik tanpa menyertakan yang
ketiga hingga mereka bercampur dengan orang ramai
kerana hal itu akan membuatnya sedih”…(HR Bukhari)

Para Ulama’ berkata:

“ Syaitan akan membisikkan kepada mereka yang
tidak terlibat dalam perbincangan dengan
mengatakan lihatlah, mereka sedang
memperkatakan tentangmu ”

The reasons of revelation this verse:

Ibn Jarir al- Tabari mengemukakan riwayat daripada
Qatadah katanya: “Orang- orang yang ada disekeliling Nabi
SAW apabila melihat seseorang datang kepada mereka
ketika di dalam majlis menghadap Baginda, mereka enggan
memberi ruang tempat duduk kepada orang yang baru tiba
itu di sisi Rasulullah SAW. Lalu turunlah ayat di atas.

The Reason of revelation this verse:

• Musa bersama gurunya meneruskan perjalanan dengan menaiki
sebuah perahu. Tetapi sebelum mereka sampai ke tempat yang
hendak dituju, gurunya (Khidir) telah membocorkan perahu
tersebut dengan menebuk lubang pada perahu yang dinaiki
mereka. Pada ketika itu Musa lupa akan janjinya dengan Khidir
maka Musa pun menegur gurunya itu lalu berkata: Apakah
sebab engkau membocorkan perahu ini? Sesungguhnya engkau
telah berbuat satu perbuatan yang salah

• Diriwayatkan oleh Ibnu Abbas bahawa mereka meneruskan
perjalanan sehingga berjumpa dengan anak-anak muda sedang
bermain. Di sana terdapat seorang anak muda yang sedang
bersuka ria bermain. Tiba-tiba gurunya menuju ke arah anak
muda itu lalu membunuhnya. Musa berasa sangat marah
dengan Khidir maka dia pun menegur gurunya lalu berkata:
“Adakah patut engkau bunuh satu jiwa yang masih bersih”.
Satu jiwa anak kecil yang masih suci bersih dan belum berdosa.
Musa berkata lagi: “Sungguh engkau telah berbuat suatu
perbuatan yang mungkar”.

1) Verse (71): “why Khidir scuttling the boat?”
• The boat is owned by poor people (fishermen) just to find some
fish to eat
• There is the King who seized on every boat. He would get it to used
as a warlike. He will take a good boat without pay the money.
• But when the boat is leaking or damaged, the King would not take
it. After that, the owners could repairs the boat later.

2) Verse (74): “why Khidir killing the children?”

• Prophet s.a.w said that he already saw the signs that the child
tend to be unfaithfulness towards his religion. But both her
parents are very good.
• Khidir concerned that children would be against his parents with
rebellious and ungrateful to them. So, that is why Khidir killed the
children
• Khidir hope that God will soon replace the dead child with a better-
behaved son who love them, worship to Allah s.w.t and obey to
them.

MORAL OF THE STORY

• This verse show that Musa adviced his teacher(Khidir)
because he think Khidir make a mistake.
• The students should follow all the instruction from the teacher and
leave our opinion behind. It is because they are more
knowledgeable than us.
• The students can not stand on their opinion only but they should
consider others opinion(including teachers and friends)
• The students can not choose only the favourite teacher but we have
to learn with all teacher.
 Teach how to ask the question

The Reason of revelation this verse:

•Orang-orang lelaki tidak terlepas dari suka dan duka. Oleh itu, jika mereka masih
kurang percaya akan sesuatu hal, mereka boleh menanyakannya kepada Ahludz-
Dzikri (ahli peringatan) iaitu orang-orang Yahudi dan Nasrani yang telah
menerima ajaran dan kitab-kitab yang dahulu. Jikalau mereka orang-orang yang
jujur, nescaya mereka akan memberitahu hal yang sebenarnya.
•(Ahludz-Dzikr) means who are knowledgeable people.
 MORAL OF THE STORY

• this verse has commanded for those who do not know

anything to ask for those who are knowledgeable. It is
because knowledge is universal and beneficial to find the
truth.

• We can learn or seek the knowledge from anybody, whoever

he is and wherever he stay

• The students should ask the question that rational and

permissible by teacher.
• Saidina Ali (r.a) has said:

"Hak dari seorang yang berilmu (guru), ialah jangan engkau

banyak bertanya kepadanya! Jangan engkau paksakan dia
menjawab, jangan engkau minta bila dia malas. Jangan
engkau pegang kainnya bila dia bangun, jangan engkau
siarkan rahsianya! Jangan engkau caci orang lain di
hadapannya, jangan engkau tuntut kelalaiannya! Jika dia silap
terimalah kemaafannya! Haruslah engkau memuliakan dan
membesarkannya kepada Allah, selama dia menjaga perintah
Allah. Jangan engkau duduk di hadapannya! Jika dia
memerlukan sesuatu, maka ajaklah orang ramai
menyegerakannya.".
