AMOR
uma teia em que devemos nos adaptar com
forcas suficientes para nos levantarmos sempre
que cairmos.
Devemos viver a vida como se estivéssemos numa guerra
em que não sabemos o que irá acontecer no próximo segundo
ou minuto, quem o diz é uma mulher muito especial na minha
vida (Gracinda Mondlane, minha namorada).
Na vida existem os optimistas e os não optimistas, aque-
les que vivem na imaginação da realização e os que vivem na
realidade da realização, quando falamos de amor, é falar das
inconsequências da emoção, paixão que por sua vez paira o
amor, mas na verdade o que é o amor? Amor é uma teia que nos
submetermos a ela em primeiro lugar devemos estar firmes e
fortes suficientemente, para nos levantarmos sempre que cair-
mos, por várias razões, tais como, discussões, interferências
familiares, de amigos, pensamentos negativos, etc.
Quando conhecemos alguém, e o tornamos o nosso par-
ceiro, submetemos a juramentos que por vezes estão a acima
das nossas capacidades, juramos que lhe faremos sempre fe-
liz, mas na verdade é para o amor ser vivido é preciso sempre
passar por vários testes que o mesmo que falamos sentir pelo
outro é posto a prova, e quem se encarrega disso é o próprio
amor, porque se o amo existe realmente entre os dois, os dois
estão patos para aguentar e superar qualquer vendaval ou tsu-
nami, que surgir na vida deles, com o objectivo de os separar
ou destruir o grande amor que foi criado no seio dos dois, após
a superação dessas calamidades, resulta na fortificação dos
dois e o amor vai crescendo cada vez mais.
Ninguém nasceu para sofre, mas também nasceu já real-
izado em todos os aspectos, e principalmente no amor, para
termos aquilo que desejamos é preciso lutar e provar que real-
mente somos os merecedores, termino com um apelo especial
para os jovens, em especial os jovens Moçambicanos: ame o
seu parceiro, mas não ame com o medo de lhe perder, porque
lhe fazer feliz e não para lhe viver uma obsessão.

LOVE
a web in which we must adapt with suf-
ficient forces to get up whenever we fall.
We must live life as if we were in a war that we do not know
what will happen in the next second or minute, who says he is
a very special woman in my life (Gracinda Mondlane, my girl-
friend).
In life there are the optimists not optimistic and those who
live in the imagination of achievement and those living in the re-
ality of accomplishment, when we speak of love, is talking about
the inconsistency of emotion, passion, which in turn hangs the
love, but actually what is love? Love is a web that we submit to it
at first, we must be firm and strong enough, to get up whenever
we fall, for various reasons, such as discussions, interference
from family, friends, negative thoughts, etc..
When we meet someone, and become our partner, we sub-
mitted the oaths which are sometimes beyond our capabilities,
we swear that you’ll always be happy, but it is actually love to
be lived one must always go through various tests that the same
as talked to feel the other is put to test, and who is in charge is
love itself, because if love really exists between the two, the two
ducks are to endure and overcome any storm or tsunami, that
arise in their lives, with the order to separate them or destroy
the love that was created within the two, after overcoming these
disasters, resulting in the fortification of two and love will grow
more.
Nobody is born to suffer, but also born already done in all
aspects, especially in love, to have what we want we must fight
and prove they truly are deserving, I will conclude with a spe-
cial appeal to young people, especially young Mozambicans :
love your partner but do not love for fear of losing you, because
you do not happy and you live to an obsession.

MARECHAL MACHEL

PAI DA NAÇÃO
Samora Moisés Machel (Madragoa, Gaza, 29 de Se-
tembro de 1933 — Montes Libombos, 19 de Outubro de
1986) foi um militar moçambicano, líder revolucionário
de inspiração socialista, que liderou a Guerra da Inde-
pendência de Moçambique e se tornou o seu primeiro
presidente após a sua independência, de 1975 a 1986..

Carinhosamente conhecido como «Pai da Na-

ção», morreu quando o avião em que regressava ao
Maputo se despenhou em território sul-africano. Em
1975-1976 foi-lhe atribuído o Prémio Lénine da Paz.

Samora Moïsés Machel (September 29, 1933 – October 19,
1986) was a Mozambican military commander, revolutionary so-
cialist leader and eventual President of Mozambique. Machel led
the country from independence in 1975 until his death in 1986, when
his presidential aircraft crashed in mountainous terrain where the
borders of Mozambique, Swaziland and South Africa converge.

(actualmente Chilembene), Samora entrou na es-
cola primária com nove anos, quando o governo co-
lonial português entregou a «educação indígena» à
Igreja Católica. Quando terminou a escola primária,
o jovem de cerca de 18 anos quis continuar a estu-
dar, mas os padres só lhe permitiam estudar teolo-
gia e Samora decidiu ir tentar a vida em Lourenço
Marques, actual Maputo. Teve a sorte de encontrar
trabalho no Hospital Miguel Bombarda (o principal
hospital da cidade) e, em 1952, começou o curso de
enfermagem. Em 1956, foi colocado como enfermeiro
na ilha da Inhaca, em frente da cidade de Maputo,
onde casou com Sorita Tchaicomo, de quem teve
quatro filhos: Joscelina, Edelson, Olívia e Ntewane.

Early lifeSamora Machel was born in the village of

Madragoa (today’s Chilembene), Gaza Province, Portu-
guese East Africa (Mozambique), to a family of farm-
ers. He was a member of the Shangana ethnic group
and his grandfather had been an active collaborator
of Gungunhana. Under Portuguese rule, his father, a
native, was forced to accept lower prices for his crops
than white farmers; compelled to grow labor-intensive
cotton, which took time away from the food crops need-
ed for his family; and forbidden to brand his mark on
his cattle to prevent thievery. However, Machel’s father
was a successful farmer: he owned four plows and 400
head of cattle by 1940. Machel grew up in this farm-
ing village and attended mission elementary school.

NO FACEBOOK ON FACEBOOK
Depois dos perfis particulares terem sofrido uma “mu-
dança de visual”, o Facebook anunciou alterações substan-
ciais à forma como as empresas podem gerir a sua presença
na rede social, conferindo às Páginas funcionalidades que di-
minuem as diferenças entre a utilização destas e dos Perfis.
A possibilidade é conferida através de uma nova opção,
dada aos administradores da Página: “utilizar o Facebook
como página”. Isto permite-lhes interagir, tanto na sua pá-
gina como noutras, em representação da sua marca, e aceder
funcionalidades até à data reservadas aos perfis particulares.
Quando um administrador de uma Página selecciona
esta nova opção, no menu Conta, a própria página fica com
um aspecto semelhante ao de um Perfil, com as fotogra-
fias alinhadas no topo e acesso a feeds de notícias das em-
presas e serviços de que “gosta” - na qualidade de Página.
Outra das novidades é a possibilidade de receber notifica-
ções - como acontece com os titulares de perfis particulares
- de cada vez que alguém publica, comenta ou passa a gostar
da página ou de uma publicação no seu mural, por exemplo.
Passa também a ser possível pesquisar outras mar-
cas, empresas, instituições e serviços na rede social e
acrescentá-los à lista de “Gosto”s da página, para ob-
ter a listagem das suas publicações directamente no
feed da página - e libertando os perfis dos administra-
dores desse fluxo de informação, caso assim o entendam.
A nova configuração ficou disponível hoje para quem
quiser experimentar o modelo, mas a partir de 10 Mar-
ço será aplicado automaticamente a todas as páginas.
Os administradores podem a qualquer momento pas-
sar alternar entre a “utilização enquanto página” ou em
nome próprio, recorrendo ao menu Conta. Na primei-
ra utilização no novo modelo, o Facebook sugere-lhes
ainda uma “visita guiada” pelas novas funcionalidades.

After the individual profiles have suffered a “new
look”, Facebook has announced substantial changes
to how companies can manage their presence on so-
cial networking features that confer on Pages dimin-
ish the differences between these and the use of Profiles.
The possibility is afforded by a new option given to man-
agers of page: “Using Facebook as a page.” This allows them
to interact, both on your page and elsewhere on behalf of your
brand, and access features so far reserved for private profiles.
When an administrator selects a page this new option in
the Account menu, the page itself is left with an aspect simi-
lar to a profile with photos on the top line and access to news
feeds and services from companies that “likes” - as a page.
Another novelty is the ability to receive notifi-
cations - as with the owners of private profiles - each
time one is published, comments or would like to pass
the page of a publication or on your wall, for example.
It will also be able to search other brands, compa-
nies, institutions and social services network and add them
to the list of “Like” s of the page to get the listing of its pub-
lications directly to the feed page - and releasing profiles
of administrators this flow of information if they so wish.
The new configuration is available to-
day for those who want to try the model, but as of
March 10 will be applied automatically to all pages.
Administrators can switch at any time pass be-
tween the “use as a page or in its own name, using the
Account menu. When first using the new model, Fa-
cebook still ask them a “tour” by the new features.
CONHECER MOÇAMBIQUE
A Zambézia está limitada ao norte pelas províncias de
Nampula e Niassa, ao leste pelo Canal de Moçambique, ao sul
pela província de Sofala e ao oeste pela província de Tete e
pelo Malawi. A província da Zambézia foi formada a partir do
distrito da Zambézia do período colonial.
O topónimo Zambézia foi criado em 1858 por decreto régio,
abrangendo as capitanias de Quelimane e “Rios de Sena” (o
Zambeze). O que hoje chamamos província da Zambézia foi
durante muito tempo o “distrito de Quelimane”, criado em
1817, extinto e incorporado no de Sena em 1829 e reposto em
1853.
A colonização deste território e, aliás de todo o vale do
Zambeze, iniciou-se no século XVII pelo aforamento de ter-
renos a portugueses ou “indo-portugueses” (indianos converti-
dos ao catolicismo, que adoptaram nomes portugueses) com-
erciantes ou soldados, a troco duma renda anual. A concessão
era feita por “prazos”, ou seja, por duas ou três gerações, sendo
transmitida à filha mais velha. Passado esse tempo, os terrenos
voltavam à posse do Estado, mas podiam voltar a ser entreg-
ues aos antigos “prazeiros”, se as autoridades achassem que a
propriedade tinha sido bem administrada. Informalmente, no
entanto, esta colonização tinha começado no século anterior,
através de acordos de fixação entre os colonos portugueses e
os chefes locais, por vezes através do casamento.
Com o tempo e a ineficácia da administração colonial, es-
tas propriedades tornaram-se verdadeiros “estados” com os
seus exércitos de “chicundas”. Não só estes senhores feudais
não pagavam renda ao Estado português, como organizaram
um sistema de cobrar o “mussoco” (um imposto individual em
espécie, devido por todos os homens válidos, maiores de 16
anos) aos camponeses que cultivavam nas suas terras. Além
disso, mineravam ouro e comerciavam marfim e escravos em
troca de panos e missangas que recebiam da Índia e de Lis-
boa. Até 1850, Cuba foi o principal destino dos escravos prove-

PROVÍNCIA DA ZAMBÉZIA
ZAMBEZIA PROVINCE
é uma província no centro de Moçambique, tem uma área
de 103 127 km² e uma população de 2 891 809 habitantes
(censo de 1997). De acordo com os resultados preliminares do
Censo de 2007, a província tem um população de 3 792 000
habitantes[1], representando um aumento de 31,1% em apenas
dez anos. A capital da província é a cidade de Quelimane,
a cerca de 1600 km ao Norte de Maputo, a capital do país.

and incorporated into the Seine in 1829 and restored in 1853.
The colonization of this territory, and indeed around
the Zambezi valley, began in the seventeenth century by the
Portuguese to land tenure or “Indo-Portuguese” (Indians con-
verted to Catholicism, who adopted Portuguese names) trad-
ers or soldiers, in return for a annual income. The award was
made by “time”, ie, two or three generations, being transmit-
ted to the eldest daughter. After this time, the land returned
to state ownership, but could be re-issued to the previous
“prazeros” if the authorities felt that the property had been
well managed. Informally, however, that colonization had be-
gun a century earlier, by fixing agreements between Portu-
guese settlers and local leaders, sometimes through marriage.
With time and inefficiency of colonial administration,
these properties have become true “states” with their armies
of “chicundas. Not only do these feudal lords did not pay rent
to the Portuguese State, as an organized system to collect the
“mussoco” (a poll tax in kind, payable by all able-bodied men,
ages 16 +) to the peasants who cultivated their land. In addition,
mined gold and traded ivory and slaves in exchange for cloth
and beads they received from India and Lisbon. Until 1850,
Cuba was the main destination for slaves from the Zambezi .....

FESTIVAL DA MARRABENTA FOI
MESMO A RABENTAR....
No dia 2 de Fevereiro, a festa começou com uma viagem de com-
boio à mítica vila de Marracuene. Minutos antes - na tarde do dia 2 -, a
ansiedade e um misto de desânimo era visível no rosto de um pouco
mais de uma centena de pessoas desejosas (entre eles músicos, jor-
nalistas, apreciadores da marrabenta e alguns aventureiros) de uma
viagem pouco comum e sem precedentes ao ritmo da marrabenta. O
motivo era único: o comboio com destino à Marracuene demorava a
partir.
Na estação dos Caminhos-de-ferro de Maputo, a expectativa era
enorme e o relógio que assinalava a passagem do tempo parecia ser
lento: a transição de um minuto para outro dava, em alguns momen-
tos, a sensação de uma eternidade. Resultado: algumas pessoas desi-
stiram da viagem.
Enquanto a locomotiva não saia, os passageiros perdiam-se em
conversas em torno da marrabenta. “A marrabenta não é fruto de um
indivíduo, é um processo que envolve todos os músicos que fazem
este ritmo”, disse António Marcos. Segundo o artista, o Festival da
Marrabenta será sempre bem-vindo, uma vez que “é a exaltação da
nossa cultura, daquilo que é nosso e daquilo que é do povo moçam-
bicano”.
Para o músico Tinito, a questão não é encontrar-se o “pai da mar-
rabenta”, mas “transmitir a experiência e os valores às camadas mais
jovens” de modo a “imortalizar-se” a marrabenta. “Não estou preocu-
pado se o fulano é rei ou não da marrabenta. Aliás, até porque todos
os somos, visto que dedicamos a nossa vida a esta música”.
Já eram precisamente 13h50, quando o famoso “Comboio da Mar-
rabenta” partiu da estação de Maputo, levando consigo alguns dos
grandes nomes da música ligeira moçambicana e apreciadores da
marrabenta para a festa do Gwaza Muthini e do Festival da Marra-
benta.
António Marcos, Ximanganine e Victor Bernardo eram alguns
dos músicos escolhidos para abrilhantar a jornada. Sentados rigida-
mente e empunhando as guitarras, os artistas começaram a soltar as
primeiras notas profundas de marrabenta e o público aproximou-se
para ouvir e ver de perto aqueles grandes nomes da música nacional,
porque o som não estava amplificado para o gáudio de todos que se
encontrava nas carruagens.
Os viajantes abandonaram os seus lugares e colocaram-se em pé
no corredor e, num piscar de olho, a carruagem na qual estavam os
artistas revelou-se pequena. Improvisou-se uma ronda de dança.

Uma horda de jovens, com os espíritos de marrabenta em ebu-
lição, tomou a conta da festa ofuscando o som das guitarras e dos
músicos. Os jovens ditavam as músicas e mostraram que as conhe-
ciam e, volvidos alguns momentos, deixou-se de ouvir os artistas e os
passageiros continuaram com a festa. Vinte minutos depois, o cansa-
ço tomou conta de todos e nunca mais voltou-se a ouvir marrabenta.
Quem estava à espera de uma viagem ao som da marrabenta,
‘pagou’ caro - importa regista que a viagem de comboio foi gratuita
-, pois um grupo de cidadãos cubanos fez a festa até ao destino can-
tando músicas latino-americanas.
Na estação dos Caminhos-de-ferro de Marracuene sobressaía
uma enorme multidão que aguardava pela chegada do “Comboio da
Marrabenta”.
MARRABENTA FESTIVAL WAS EVEN RABEN-
TAR ....
On 2 February, the party began with a train journey to the mythical town of Marrac-
uene. Minutes before - on the afternoon of 2 -, anxiety and a mix of gloom was visible in the
face of a little over a hundred people eager (including musicians, journalists, lovers and
some adventurous marrabenta) of an unusual trip unprecedented and the pace of mar-
rabenta. The reason was unique: the train bound for Marracuene slow to leave.
At the station of Railways Railways of Maputo, the expectation was enormous and
the clock to mark the passage of time seemed to be slow: the transition from one minute to
another did, at times, the feeling of eternity. Result: some people gave up the trip.
While the locomotive did not leave, passengers were lost in conversations around the
marrabenta. “The marrabenta is not the result of an individual, is a process that involves
all the musicians who make this pace,” said Marcos Antonio. According to the artist, the
Festival of Marrabenta will always be welcome, since “it is the exaltation of our culture,
what is ours and what is the Mozambican people”.
For the musician Tiniti, the issue is not to find himself the “father of marrabenta” but
“convey the experience and values to younger” in order to “immortalize themselves” mar-
rabenta. “I’m not worried if the guy is not the king or marrabenta. Moreover, because all are
as we devote our lives to this music. “
It was now precisely 13:50, when the famous “Train of Marrabenta” left the station in
Maputo, carrying some of the greats of music lovers and mild Mozambican marrabenta
Gwazi for the festival and the Festival of Muthini Marrabenta.
Mark Anthony, and Victor Ximanganine Bernardo were among the musicians chosen
to brighten the day. Sitting rigidly and wielding guitars, the artists began releasing the first
notes of deep marrabenta and the public came to hear and see up close those big names
in music nationally, because the sound was not amplified to the delight of everyone who
was in carriages.
Travellers left their seats and placed themselves standing in the hallway and, without
blinking an eye, a chariot on which the artists were proved to be small. A round-improvised
dance.
A horde of young people with the spirits of marrabenta boiling, took account of the
party overshadowing the sound of guitars and musicians. Young people dictating the mu-
sic and showed that knew them, and ware a few moments to let you hear the artists and
the passengers continued with the party. Twenty minutes later, the fatigue took hold of
everyone and never returned to hear marrabenta.
Who was waiting for a trip to the sound of marrabenta, ‘paid’ expensive - it notes that
the train journey was free - as a group of Cubans made the party singing songs to your
destination in Latin America.
At the station of Railways Railways Marracuene stood a huge crowd waiting for the
arrival of the “Train of Marrabenta.

Falando depois de inaugurar dois novos edifícios construídos de raiz com apoio
da China, nomeadamente o da Procuradoria-Geral da República (PGR) e do Gabinete
Central de Combate a Corrupção (GCCC), Guebuza afirmou que com este feito o país
deu um importante passo rumo a melhoria das condições de trabalho dos quadros
desta área o que deve se reflectir no respectivo desempenho.
“A melhoria das condições de trabalho deve traduzir-se também na melhoria do

da justiça, e convidados, Guebuza destacou, por outro lado, que os dois novos edifícios
não só vão melhorar a prestação de serviços ao público, mas também incrementam a
beleza arquitectónica da capital moçambicana.
Salientando o papel da PGR e do GCCC na manutenção da ordem e tranquili-
dade públicas, combate ao crime e a corrupção, o estadista moçambicano considerou
ainda que a construção destas infra-estruturas expressa o cometimento dos dois país-
es na luta pelo bem estar das duas nações e povos.
De acordo com ele, o facto veio ainda dar maior expressão e substancia as rela-
ções entre Moçambique e a China que datam desde os tempos da luta armada de lib-
ertação nacional. Por seu turno, o Embaixador chinês acreditado em Maputo, Huang
Sun Pu, disse que fora de ostentarem uma beleza arquitectónica impar, os dois edifí-
cios são um símbolo inequívoco de cooperação entre os dois países, na sua compo-
nente de combate ao crime.

Speaking after inaugurating two new buildings built from scratch with
support from China, including the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) and the
Central Office for Combating Corruption (GCCC), Guebuza said that this

According to him, the fact was even greater emphasis and substance relations be-
tween Mozambique and China dating from the days of armed struggle for national lib-
eration. Meanwhile, the Chinese Ambassador accredited to Maputo, Huang Pu Sun said
that outside of bearing a unique architectural beauty, the two buildings are an unmistak-
able symbol of cooperation between the two countries, in its component of fighting crime.

Aconteceu na noite do dia 13 de Fevereiro a 53º edição dos
prémios Grammy, a maior premiação da música mundial. A
cerimónia teve início com uma performance em conjunto de
Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Yolanda Adams, Martina
McBride e Florence Welch (Florence and The Machine) em
uma homenagem a “Rainha do Soul” Aretha Franklin.
Ainda em recuperação, Aretha gravou um depoimento
agradecendo a homenagem, e também aos fãs e amigos que a
apoiaram nestes últimos tempos enquanto passava por prob-
lemas de saúde.
Indicado em dez categorias, Eminem levou para casa so-
mente os prémios por “Melhor Álbum de Rap” e “Melhor Per-

It happened on the night of February 13th to 53rd edition of
the Grammy Awards, the highest award in the music world. The
ceremony began with a performance set of Christina Aguilera,

Still recovering, Aretha recorded a statement thanking the

A confissão não pode ser realizada nos aparelhos iPhone,
explicou o porta-voz do Vaticano, padre Federico Lombardi,
em seguida ao lançamento, nos Estados Unidos, de um aplica-
tivo da Apple batizado “Confissão”, destinado a guiar os fiéis
para a absolvição.
“É essencial compreender bem que o sacramento da pen-
itência demanda necessariamente uma relação de diálogo pes-
soal entre o penitente e o confessor, e a absolvição do sacerdote
presente. Isso não pode ser substituído por nenhum aplicativo
da informática”, afirmou à imprensa o padre Federico Lombar-
di, diretor da assessoria de imprensa do Vaticano.
“É preciso insistir nisso para evitar toda a ambiguidade,
não se podendo falar de forma alguma de ‘confissão pelo iP-
hone’”, destacou.
O aplicativo, criado pela empresa Little iApps, é vendido
por 1,99 dólar no iTunes.
Para levar os fiéis a confessarem os pecados, o aplicativo
propõe a eles responder a perguntas para verificar se se com-
portam de acordo com as regras fixadas pelas Escrituras, como
por exemplo “Esteve envolvido em práticas ocultas?”, ou “Pro-
curou a transmitir a Deus todo o amor de seu coração?”.
Seu criador, Patrick Leinen, explica que foi concebido para
ser utilizado no confissionário, sendo destinado “aos que vão à
missa. Nossa vontade é convidar os católicos a expressar sua
fé através das novas tecnologias”.
“No mundo onde numerosas pessoas utilizam suportes
informatizados para ler e refletir (...) não podemos impedir o
apoio em ferramentas digitais”; uma pessoa pode até fazer sua
confissão em particular, mas “isso não substitui em nenhum
caso o sacramento”.

Decidida a homenagear os 150 anos de unificação da Itália,
a Ferrari chamou ao monolugar de 2011, F150. A Ford achou
mal…
Há coisas que não lembram a ninguém… A Ford decidiu
processar a Ferrari s.p.a porque o nome F150 que a marca itali-
ana deu ao seu monolugar de Fórmula 1 para celebrar os 150
anos da unificação da Itália, é muito parecido com o F-150 da
sua pick-up.
A Ferrari criou um sítio de internet (www.ferrarif150.com)
para divulgar a iniciativa por todos aplaudida e isso a Ford en-
tende que o nome sem o hífen é demasiado próximo do nome
da sua pick-up emblemática, a F-150.
Segundo um porta-voz da Ferrari comentou com a Automo-
tive News Europe, “estamos simplesmente sem palavras, pois
o carro não é para vender, é um carro de corridas e nem sequer
poderá ser adquirido por particulares. E nem sequer o carro irá
estar em competição nos EUA, onde não há corridas de F1”
A verdade é que a Ford, no processo intentado contra a Fer-
rari, acusa esta de usar o nome para beneficiar e lucrar com a
fama que a Ford construiu com a marca registada F-150, exigin-
do uma indemnização de 100 mil dólares por danos. Surreal!
Por via das dúvidas, a Ferrari já anunciou que vai fazer juso
do nome completo do carro, ou seja, Ferrari F150th Itália. Não
deixando de referir que “não percebendo o ponto de vista da
Ford” alegando que a sua presença na F1 “não se pode com-
parar com outra qualquer actividade comercial ligada ao au-
tomóvel”, a Ferrari decidiu, “num acto que mostra a nossa boa
vontade privando que agimos de boa fé” utilizar a forma com-
pleta do nome do carro, no caso Ferrari F150th Itália.

CRÓNICA
MOÇAMBIQUE
Do déficit público ao tamanho do estado, um regresso ao so-
cialismo?
Há cerca de 3 anos que a economia mundial encontra-se
numa situação pouco sustentável. Apesar de ter iniciado com
uma crise financeira com o cerne no mercado de habitação dos
EUA, tal foi o efeito dominó que, rapidamente, se espalhou por
outras economias, que a crise acabou se tornando uma crise
econômica, levando assim muitos países à recessão.
Em continuidade, numa altura em que o mundo esperava
que a balança econômica começasse a pender para frente, eis
que o déficit orçamental tornou-se num grande “calcanhar de
Aquiles” para os estados altamente endividados. Temos vindo
a acompanhar os casos de Espanha, Portugal, Irlanda, Grécia
e outros. Em meados de 2010, num artigo publicado no jor-
nal “O País”, de Moçambique, fiz a análise do caso português,
muito centrado nas medidas de austeridade tomadas pelo seu
governo, com aval do maior partido da oposição. Entretanto,
importa fazer uma introspecção sobre como vai o meu país,
Moçambique, nas mesmas matérias, até por uma questão pa-
triótica.
Breve Historial
Moçambique é um país de 20 milhões de habitantes, planta-
do na costa oriental africana, à beira do oceano Índico. Tornou-
se independente da sua então potência colonizadora, por sinal
o mesmo Portugal que hoje se encontra em crise, em 1975, por
via de uma luta armada de libertação que durou 10 anos. Num
mundo dividido em 2 blocos (Socialista e Capitalista), o país
decidiu alinhar-se com o bloco socialista, com quem já man-
tinha relações fortes. O estado tornou-se detentor dos meios
de produção, quase todas as empresas foram nacionalizadas.
Ao mesmo tempo, a Constituição da República aprovada em
1975 consagrou a terra como propriedade do estado.
Deste modo, as políticas econômicas e sociais eram defini-
das a nível central. O que produzir, em que quantidades,
quando, onde e como, era definido pelo estado. As importa-
ções e exportações, as rotas comerciais internas, os preços
dos produtos eram centralmente planificados. Os empreend-
edores que não seguissem as diretrizes centrais incorriam ao
risco de punição, até com pena capital. Foi assim que um país
de 36 milhões de terra arável passou a importar quase tudo. A
produção interna tornou-se incipiente, aliás, segundo Prakash
Ratilal, então Governador do Banco Central, em entrevista re-
cente ao semanário SAVANA:
o declínio geral na produção no período de 1981 a 1983 foi
de cerca de 23.4%. A produção industrial decresceu 30.9% e a
agricultura 22.8%”. As exportações que tinham alcançado US$
281 milhões em 1981, em 1985 decresceram para US$ 76.6 mil-
hões. As importações de crude representavam 12.9% do total

das exportações em 1973, cerca de 31.4% em 1975 e em 1981 cor-
respondiam a 59.5% do valor total das exportações.
O endividamento público cresceu exponencialmente. Ou
seja, estávamos engregados. Tal como acontece hoje na Gré-
cia, naquela altura a população saiu para as ruas, não para
protestar contra o governo mas para formar longas filas a es-
pera da sua oportunidade para comprar pão.
A situação social era mais difícil ainda se tivermos em con-
ta que o país estava mergulhado numa guerra civil brutal.
É neste contexto de crise, que em 1984 após várias hesita-
ções e negociações, o governo decide aderir as instituições da
bretton woods, adoptou a economia do mercado e passou a re-
ceber créditos concessionais e apoio técnico do Fundo Mone-
tário Internacional e do Banco Mundial, apoio este que criou as
bases para a estabilização macroeconômica e um crescimento
econômico na ronda dos 7%/ano na última década. Nesta altu-
ra, o grande problema estava em como lidar com as empresas
que tinham altos custos de produção mas permaneciam em
funcionamento graças aos subsídios governamentais e pro-
tecionismo estatal que restringia as importações, provocava
escassez e assim mantinha no mercado os produtos a preços
altos, quase inacessíveis para as camadas mais pobres. Foi as-
sim que nos finais da década 1980 e princípios da década 1990
a nudez era nota dominante na população mais pobre apesar
de haver muito vestuário (usado) a preços baixos (até mesmo
grátis) na Europa. Entretanto, esse é tema para outro artigo.
Tendência das contas públicas
O ponto é que com a tendente melhoria do quadro legal
a nível econômico, político e social, acompanhada estabiliza-
ção macroeconômica, a abertura para uma economia de mer-
cado, a mudança constitucional para um sistema de estado de
direito democrático, multipartidário, com eleições regulares,
onde a constituição defende duma forma geral os direitos hu-
manos, estavam criadas as bases para um crescimento susten-
tado. Mais ainda, com o fim da guerra civil em 1992. Todavia, o
ainda elevado déficit público e a fraca participação de muitos
setores populacionais na economia continua a ameaçar este
crescimento. No Orçamento Geral do Estado 2011 (OGE 2011)
o governo prevê um déficit de 45%, a serem financiados por
donativos e créditos, externos e internos.
No entanto, a sustentabilidade deste nível de déficit afig-
ura-se difícil numa altura em que o país, tendencialmente, fi-
nancia o seu déficit por via de créditos, sejam eles concession-
ais ou não. Aliás, o cenário complica-se mais ainda quando o
colectivo de doadores do Estado Moçambicano, agrupados no
famoso G 19, preparam-se para reduzir os donativos para OGE
2011 em cerca de USD 60 milhões, doando apenas USD 412
milhões.
Numa análise da tendência das contas públicas moçambi-
canas, nos últimos 4 anos, podemos verificar que no OGE 2011
e no seu instrumento operacional PES 2011 (Plano Económico
e Social 2011) o estado prevê o aumento da despesa pública em
cerca de 90%, se compararmos com o ano de 2008 (compare
com PES 2008), elevando assim a participação do estado no
PIB, de 29,1% em 2008 para 35,3% em 2011. Ou seja, o estado
está tendencialmente a aumentar o seu bolo na economia; está
se tornando proporcionalmente maior, em detrimento do setor
privado, o que é pernicioso para um país que quer, e está a
sair de uma economia basicamente estatal para uma economia
de mercado onde o setor privado é o maior dinamizador das
tendências económicas.
Adicionalmente, nota-se um aumento do déficit público
em 99%, em termos nominais (de 2008 – 2011); Este aumento,
quer do OGE como do déficit tem como espinhas centrais de
suporte o aumento das receitas do Estado (87%) e do crédito
externo (182%). Isto significa que o estado moçambicano está
a endividar-se cada vez mais, correndo o risco de chegar a uma
situação análoga à portuguesa, grega, etc. Porque teimamos
em gastar muito mais do que é a sua receita.
Há quem possa dizer que peco pelo exagero, que a dimen-
são da economia moçambicana não pode ser comparada com
a grega ou portuguesa, entretanto, deixem-me esclarecer que
a analogia que faço se baseia, não nas dimensões, mas sim
nos comportamentos idênticos de aumento do endividamento
público e dos gastos estatais. Mais ainda numa altura em que
o estado moçambicano decidiu introduzir no seu vocabulário
oficial o termo “austeridade”.
Concluindo
Neste contexto de incertezas econômicas a nível interna-
cional, se o país quiser ser coerente com a economia de merca-
do constitucionalmente consagrada, importa devolver ao setor
privado a primazia na dinamização da economia. Importa re-
duzir o déficit público, reduzindo os gastos desnecessários do
estado. Por exemplo, tenho ainda muitas dúvidas se um país,
pequeno e pobre como Moçambique, precisa de uma Agência
de Energia Atómica. Tenho dúvidas se um país com graves
problemas de corrupção, como o nosso, precisa de um tal “In-
stituto de Nomes Geográficos” com dotação orçamental para
2011 (Vide no OGE 2011) quase equivalente ao triplo do orça-
mento atribuído ao Gabinete Central de Combate a Corrup-
ção da Procuradoria da República. Enfim, são esses sinais que
roçam ao despesismo estatal que, por via de impostos eleva-
dos, minam o desenvolvimento normal do setor privado.
Por outras palavras, se Moçambique quiser singrar no con-
certo das nações como um país virado para o desenvolvimento
econômico sustentável, precisamos acabar com o despesismo,
adoptar políticas que reduzam a carga fiscal, aumentem o papel
do setor privado na economia e assim estimule os empresários
e jovens empreendedores a colocar em prática novas ideias e,
por via disto, passar a apostar na produção especializada e em

escala, virada para abastecer o mercado nacional e internacio-
nal. Só assim é que o país vai crescer de forma sustentável, não
aumentando desproporcionalmente o peso do estado. Porque
os exemplos estão à vista!

The public deficit to the size of the
state, a return to socialism?
For nearly three years that the world economy is in a situ-
ation not sustainable. Despite having started with a financial
crisis with the core in the housing market in the U.S., this was
the domino effect that quickly spread to other economies, the
crisis became an economic crisis, thus leading many countries
into recession.
Continuing, at a time when the world expected the econom-
ic balance began to lean forward, behold, the budget deficit has
become a major “Achilles heel” for the highly indebted states.
We have been monitoring the cases of Spain, Portugal, Ireland,
Greece and others. In mid-2010 for an article published in “The
Country”, Mozambique, did the analysis of the Portuguese case,
very centered on the austerity measures taken by his govern-
ment, with backing from the biggest opposition party. However,
it should do an insight on how’s my country, Mozambique, in the
same subjects, even by a patriotic issue.
Brief History
Mozambique is a country of 20 million people, planted in
the East African coast, bordering the Indian Ocean. It became
independent from its then colonial power, by the way the same
day that Portugal is in crisis in 1975 by an armed struggle that
lasted 10 years. In a world divided into two blocks (Socialist
and Capitalist), the country has decided to align himself with
the socialist bloc, with whom he maintained strong relations.
The state became owner of the means of production, almost all
businesses were nationalized. At the same time, the Constitu-
tion adopted in 1975 established the land as state property.
Thus, the economic and social policies were centrally deter-
mined. What to produce, in what quantities, when, where and
how it was defined by the state. Imports and exports, domestic
trade routes, the prices were centrally planned. Entrepreneurs
who do not follow the lead central incurring the risk of punish-
ment, even with capital punishment. Thus a country of 36 mil-
lion arable land began to import almost everything. Domestic

lion. Imports of crude oil accounted for 12.9% of total exports in
1973, about 31.4% in 1975 and 1981 accounted for 59.5% of total
exports.

prices, almost inaccessible for the poorest. It was thus that in
the late 1980 and early 1990 decade nudity was the dominant
note in the poorer population in spite of much clothing (used)
at low prices (even free) in Europe. However, this is a topic for
another article.
Trend in public accounts
The point is that by improving the legal framework aimed
at economic, political and social, together with macroeconomic
stabilization, the opening to a market economy, constitutional
change to a system of democratic rule of law, multiparty, with
regular elections, where advocates the establishment of a gen-
eral human rights were the foundation for sustained growth.
Moreover, with the civil war ended in 1992. However, the still
high public deficit and weak participation of many population
sectors in the economy continues to threaten this growth. On
State Budget 2011 (OGE 2011) the government expects a defi-
cit of 45%, to be financed by grants and credits, external and
internal.
However, the sustainability of this level of deficit it is diffi-
cult at a time when the country, usually finances its deficit by
credits, whether concessional or not. Moreover, the scenario is
complicated even more when the donors’ collective Mozambi-
can state, grouped in the famous G19 and prepare to reduce the
state budget for 2011 grants of about USD 60 million, donating
only $ 412 million.
In a trend analysis of the Mozambican government accounts
in the last four years, we find that the State Budget 2011 and its
operational tool PES 2011 (Economic and Social Plan 2011) the
state provides for increased public spending by around 90% if
we compare with the year 2008 (compare to PES 2008), thereby
increasing state participation in GDP from 29.1% in 2008 to
35.3% in 2011. That is, the state is tended to increase their cake
in the economy, is becoming proportionately larger at the ex-
pense of the private sector, which is harmful for a country that
wants, and is emerging from a largely state-owned economy to
a market economy market where the private sector is the major
driving force of economic trends.

Additionally, there is an increasing public deficit by 99% in
nominal terms (from 2008 to 2011) This increase of either the
OGE as the deficit has as its central spines to support the in-
crease of state revenues (87%) and external credit (182%). This
means that the Mozambican state is in debt up increasingly
in danger of reaching a situation similar to Portuguese, Greek,
etc.. Why insist on spending more than is his recipe.
Some might say that sin by exaggeration, that the size of the
Mozambican economy can not be compared with the Greek or
Portuguese, however, let me clarify that I make the analogy is
based not on size but on the same behaviors increase govern-
ment borrowing and public sector spending. Moreover at a time
when the Mozambican state has decided to introduce in its of-
ficial vocabulary the word “austerity.”
Completing
In this context of economic uncertainty at an international
level, if it is to be consistent with the market economy has en-

sector in boosting the economy. Important to reduce the public
deficit, reducing unnecessary spending in the state. For exam-

country with serious corruption problems, like ours, need such
an “Institute of Geographic Names” with the budget alloca-
tion for 2011 (See OGE in 2011) almost equivalent to three times
the budget allocated to the Central Office for Combating Cor-
ruption Attorney’s Office. Anyway, these are signs that graze
‘spending to state that, through high taxes, undermined the
normal development of the private sector.
In other words, if Mozambique wants to succeed in the co-
mity of nations as a country dedicated to the sustainable eco-
nomic development, we need to do away with the ‘spending,
adopt policies that reduce the tax burden, increase the role of
the private sector in the economy and thus encourage entrepre-
neurs and young entrepreneurs to put into practice new ideas
and, through this, go to invest in specialized production and
scale shift to supplying the domestic and international mar-
kets. Only then will the country achieve sustainable growth, not
increasing disproportionately the burden of the state. Because
the samples are in sight!

Investigadores descobrem que sentimento de fim de rela-
ção está associado a ansiedade e depressão
Investigadores da Rutgers University, New Jersey, desco-
briram que as áreas do cérebro que são accionadas quando
uma pessoa é abandonada pelo parceiro são as mesmas que
estão associadas às dependências, à depressão e à ansiedade.
O estudo demonstrou que, após dois meses do fim da rela-
ção, os sentimentos que essas pessoas nutriam pelo parceiro
ainda estavam intactos.
Helen E. Fisher, coordenadora deste estudo e reconhecida
antropóloga e investigadora na área dos relacionamentos,
afirma que a rejeição cria uma espécie de dependência, que
apesar de causar dor, é superável. Pôr fim à tristeza e aos pen-
samentos negativos não é mais do que um processo de apren-
dizagem.
Para evitar que situações de dependência no seguimento
do fim de relacionamentos afectem a produtividade dos seus
empregados, o grupo Richemont, proprietário, entre outras
marcas, dos relógios e joalharia Cartier, das canetas Montblanc
e dos produtos Gucci, proibiu os relacionamentos amorosos
entre os trabalhadores, sobretudo se ambos trabalharem lado
a lado. Se não houver respeito pelo código de comportamento,
os prevaricadores podem ser punidos com o despedimento ou
poderão mesmo ter de mudar de local de trabalho.

Researchers discover that feeling of connection to the asso-
ciated anxiety and depression
Researchers from Rutgers University, New Jersey, discov-
ered that the brain areas that are triggered when a person is
abandoned by her partner are the same that are associated
with addictions, depression and anxiety.
The study showed that after two months of the end of the re-
lationship, the feelings that these people harbored by the part-
ner were still intact.
Helen E. Fisher, coordinator of the study and renowned an-
thropologist and researcher in the area of relationships, said

A escassos dias da cerimónia de abertura dos X Jogos Afri-
canos de Maputo-2011, prevista para 3 de Setembro, no Estádio
Nacional do Zimpeto, o ritmo de preparação é considerado sat-
isfatório, sobretudo porque a construção da vila olímpica vai
de vento em popa, assim como a reabilitação de diferentes in-
fra-estruturas que acolherão as competições. No entanto, ape-
sar de prever uma melhoria substancial nos próximos meses,
há a salientar o facto de, neste momento, se registar um certo
défice no tocante à divulgação do evento junto da esmagado-
ra maioria da população, de modo a permitir que esta viva e
também se sinta parte integrante da maior festa desportiva do
continente.
Esta asserção pertence ao secretário permanente do Minis-
tério da Juventude e Desportos, João Loforte, intervindo na
abertura de um seminário levado a cabo pelo Comité Orga-
nizador dos Jogos Africanos (COJA), envolvendo os membros
das suas várias subcomissões, dirigentes da Missão Moçam-
bique e uma delegação angolana chefiada pelo Vice-Ministro
da Juventude e Desportos, Albino da Conceição, integrando
responsáveis do Comité Organizador do CAN Angola-2010
(COCAN).
O objectivo do encontro centrava-se no seguinte: ouvir dos
angolanos a sua experiência na organização de grandes even-
tos desportivos, em particular o CAN, que unanimemente foi
considerado um sucesso. Um dos integrantes da equipa, Car-
doso Lima, dissertou longamente sobre a forma como Angola
se organizou para acolher a competição máxima do futebol
continental, desde a altura da atribuição do evento pela CAF
até à componente competitiva propriamente dita.
Entretanto, coube ao vice-ministro angolano pôr o dedo na
ferida, isto é, de forma didáctica e sem ferir susceptibilidades,
chamar a atenção sobre alguns aspectos que considera impre-
scindíveis para o sucesso do evento, mas que, na sua aproxima-
ção, não estarão a ser tomados em conta pelo COJA. Albino
da Conceição pegou no exemplo da divulgação dos Jogos e
da sua inserção junto da população para convidar os respon-
sáveis moçambicanos a primarem por uma atitude mais prag-
mática, pois só dessa forma conseguir-se-á realizar um evento
abrangente.
Segundo ele, para a prossecução desse objectivo, a Imprensa
joga um papel extremamente importante, daí a imperiosidade
na interacção entre Governo/COJA/órgãos de comunicação
social. Albino da Conceição disse que, independentemente de
se tratar de Imprensa pública ou privada, é indispensável um
trabalho conciso com ela, apelar ao patriotismo dos jornalistas
para, através deles, se chegar facilmente à população.

de carreira, o músico e intérprete Orlando da Conceição
mostrou-se agastado com o que acontece com a nossa cul-
tura e, em jeito de desabafo, dispara: “na verdade, este
é um país de makwaela, todos cantam, mas muito mal”.
O professor Orlando é um verdadeiro homem de cultura,
um artista completo e de mão cheia, pois não só cuida com
perfeição dos sopros, como também tem passagem pelo
cinema, teatro, artes plásticas e dança, áreas que sempre o
acompanham. Nessa óptica, quando analisa assuntos liga-
dos à cultura, o faz com conhecimento de causa. Como voz
autorizada, o clarinetista mostra-se agastado, pois, segundo
as suas próprias palavras, “não existe um trabalho profundo
quando se trata de formação de músicos, embora seja ver-
dade que a Escola de Comunicação e Artes (ECA) da Univer-
sidade Eduardo Mondlane, entre outros estabelecimentos de
ensino, esteja a formar pessoas na área da música”, afirma.
Como que a explicar melhor, o também docente de música
na ECA revela que “muitos não têm bases de música porque
a formação de músico começa quando criança e não na fase
adulta. A formação começa naquele momento que vamos
matricular o nosso filho na escola primária e, em paralelo,
matriculamos na escola de música, dança, teatro, artes plás-
ticas. Podemos chamar uma criança de talentosa quando
na tenra idade já revela capacidade de cantar, tocar, pintar,
dançar, representar e não quando já está no palco e dize-
mos que tem talento. Pecamos muito”, desabafa o professor.
Aos olhos deste professor de créditos firmados, não há um
programa do Ministério da Educação em coordenação com o
Ministério da Cultura dirigido a crianças. “É por isso que não
me lembro quando é que foi reintroduzida a educação musical
nas escolas. Mas desde que se reintroduziu, nada mais se fez, é
por isso que temos um professor de Educação Física, Português,
Matemática a dar aulas de Educação Musical. Estamos a brin-
car, não estamos a tomar as coisas sérias, é só para o inglês ver.
Desde que se introduziu a Educação Musical nunca
houve fiscalização para se saber se o que estamos a fazer
realmente está surtir efeitos. Um professor de Educação
Física nunca vai ser professor de Educação Musical, a não
ser que tenha formação nessa área. Um professor de Portu-
guês por mais vocabulário que tenha, fluidez na língua, se
não teve formação na área de música, nunca vai dizer uma
única palavra, porque música é ciência e não apenas tal-
ento. Música é uma ciência que foi descoberta na antiga
Grécia, quando se descobriu a Física, Matemática”, apontou.

SUPER HOMEM COM NOVO ACTOR
Depois de Christopher Reeve e Brandon Routh, será o
britânico Henry Cavill a vestir o uniforme de Super-Homem,
num filme realizado por Zack Snyder e co-produzido por Chris-
topher Nolan.
«No panteão dos super-heróis, o Super-Homem é a person-
agem mais reconhecida e reverenciada, e estou honrado por
fazer parte do seu regresso ao grande ecrã. Também me junto
à Warner Bros., a Legendary e aos produtores a dizer o quão
excitados estamos sobre a contratação de Henry. Ele é a es-
colha perfeita para colocar a capa e o uniforme com o S como
emblema». Estas foram as declarações do realizador Zack Sny-
der que confirmam, após muita especulação, que o britânico
Henry Cavill será o próximo Super-Homem no cinema.
Graças ao sucesso da sua recriação cinematográfica de
Batman, Christopher Nolan foi o escolhido para liderar, en-
quanto produtor, o renascimento do Super-Homem. A escolha
para realizador recaiu em Zack Snyder, cujas credenciais na
adaptação de BD ao cinema incluem «300» e «Watchmen - Os
Guardiões».
Henry Cavill começou a dar nas vistas em 2002, com um
papel secundário em «O Conde de Monte Cristo» e logo a
seguir em «I Capture the Castle». Seguiram-se interpretações
em filmes como «Tristão e Isolda», «Stardust - O Mistério da

SUPER MAN WITH A NEW
ACTOR
After Christopher Reeve and Brandon Routh, Henry Cavill is the
Briton to wear the uniform of Superman in a film directed by Zack Sny-
der and co-produced by Christopher Nolan.
‘In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the character most
recognized and revered, and I am honored to be part of his return to
the big screen. I am also close to Warner Bros.., Legendary and produc-
ers to say how excited we are about the hiring of Henry. He is the per-
fect choice to put the hood and even with the S emblem. “ These were
statements by director Zack Snyder confirms that, after much specula-
tion that the British Henry Cavill will be the next Superman film.
Thanks to the success of its cinematic recreation of Batman, Chris-
topher Nolan was chosen to lead as a producer with the rebirth of Su-
perman. The choice fell on to director Zack Snyder, whose credentials
in the adaptation of the BD movies include “300” and “Watchmen -
The Guardians’.
Henry Cavill began to attract attention in 2002 with a supporting
role in “The Count of Monte Cristo” and soon after in “I Capture the
Castle ‘. This was followed by performances in films such as “Tristan
and Isolde ‘,’ Stardust - The Mystery of Shooting Star” and “Whatever
Works”, but its most important role, and that gave him more recogni-
tion, appeared on television in series ‘The Tudor’, in which embodied
Charles Brandon, Duke of Suffolk.
With the fantastic movie “The Immortals”, directed by Tarsem
Singh, with debut set for this year, Cavill can finally break a jinx that
has already led to it being dubbed the unluckiest player in Hollywood.
Besides having the role of Superman in hand to lose it with the change
of director, the actor had also been chosen for the role of Edward Cul-
len for the series “Twilight” by Stephenie Meyer herself but the delay
in filming meant that he had chosen to be a younger actor (Robert
Pattinson) since its 24 years can allow him to embody a 17. The new
Superman film, tentatively titled “Man of Steel” will be hitting screens
in December 2012.

A maioria das mulheres não conhece os passos certos
Segundo a experiência da Dama de Copas, mais de 99% das
mulheres não sabe o seu tamanho correcto de soutien.
Isto leva a que não consigam nem saibam colocar correcta-
mente os soutiens que têm.
A colocação errada de um soutien significa:
- Fechar um soutien do avesso na barriga, porque estraga
os elásticos do soutien e dificulta a colocação correcta.
- Levantar a banda do soutien demasiado para cima, porque
colocada desta forma desequilibra o suporte do peito.
- Colocar os aros por cima dos seios, porque não conseg-
uem suportá-los e vão causar incómodo.
- Não arrumar a mama dentro da copa, porque vai saltar
para fora da copa.
- Deixar as alças demasiado soltas, porque tenderão a cair
dos ombros, ou deixá-las demasiado apertadas, porque vão
apertá-los e até deformá-los.
As imagens abaixo explicam, passo a passo, como deve ve-
stir um soutien de forma correcta.
1º Passo
Com as alças no comprimento máximo nos ombros, pro-
jecte o corpo para a frente e encaixe os seios dentro de cada
copa. Feche o soutien no primeiro colchete. Os outros colchetes
servirão mais tarde para, ao longo do tempo de uso do soutien,
se ir ajustando a largura nas costas à medida que a banda for
perdendo a sua elasticidade.
2º Passo
Mova e ajeite os seus seios com as mãos, até preencherem
completamente a copa do soutien. Mantenha sempre a banda
do soutien na mesma posição. Os aros devem assentar no es-
terno, mas sem apertarem demasiado.
3º Passo
Mantendo as alças no lugar, agite o peito para que entre
bem na copa. Os seios começam por debaixo das axilas, por
isso, deve começar por “pegar” nesta zona! Para colocar os
aros mesmo debaixo dos seios, agite o soutien suavemente,
para a esquerda e para a direita.
4º Passo
Solte as alças dos ombros e ajuste o seu comprimento.
Deve encurtar a alça até conseguir colocar não mais que dois
dedos entre a alça e o ombro. Só precisará de ajustar as alças
na primeira vez que coloca o soutien. Não se esqueça: não
coloque pressão excessiva sobre os ombros. As costas do sou-
tien, e não as alças, é que devem ser o principal suporte para
o peito.

Most women do not know the right steps

O escritor da Guiné Equatorial Juan Tomás Laurel entrou
em greve de fome contra a situação no seu país e escreveu uma
carta aberta ao presidente do Parlamento espanhol, José Bono
Martínez. Pediu-lhe que faça pressão para promover o fim da
ditadura do general Teodoro Obiang.
A carta aberta foi disponibilizada na página do Facebook
de Juan Tomás Ávila Laurel, a poucas horas de José Bono
Martínez chegar a Malabo, capital da Guiné Equatorial, para
uma visita oficial de uma delegação parlamentar espanhola.
Nela é pedido ao presidente do Parlamento espanhol para que
faça “pressão para que seja constituído na Guiné Equatorial
um Governo de transição de que não faça parte ninguém que
tenha ocupado cargos políticos ao longo dos últimos 32 anos”.
Laurel adianta: “Já não podemos continuar a viver debaixo de
uma ditadura que nos consome a alma”.
Teodoro Obiang chegou ao poder em 1979, assumiu no
mês passado a presidência da União Africana e tem preten-
sões a integrar a Comunidade dos Países de Língua Portu-
guesa (CPLP). O seu regime tem sido marcado por violações
de direitos humanos que desencadearam o protesto de Juan
Tomás Laurel, um dos mais conhecidos escritores da Guiné
Equatorial, autor de obras como “A carga” ou “Nada tem boa
fama neste país”.
O texto é uma crítica à visita de José Bono Martínez, que
causou polémica em Espanha, mas é sobretudo um apelo.
“Senhor Bono, a única coisa que desejamos é que consiga que
Obiang, o seu filho Teodorín, a primeira-dama Constância, os
irmãos e primos generais e coronéis que sustentam este in-
qualificável poder, consigam um asilo num país seguro. Cre-
mos que uma terça parte do dinheiro guardado no estrangeiro
por apenas um deles dê para viverem até ao resto dos seus
dias”.
Juan Tomás Laurel participa frequentemente em confer-
ências em universidades norte-americanas sobre língua e lit-
eratura espanholas e é autor de um blogue na revista digital
“FronteraD” intitulado “Malabo”, no qual aborda questões rela-
cionadas com a vida na Guiné Equatorial. Na sua carta deixa
um alerta ao presidente do Parlamento espanhol. “Não é justo
deixar a minha vida nas suas mãos, mas tenho que reconhecer
que o que acontecer com ela dependerá muito de si.”

The writer of Equatorial Guinea Juan Tomás Laurel went
on hunger strike against conditions in their country and wrote
an open letter to the president of the Spanish Parliament, José
Bono Martínez. Asked him to apply pressure to promote the dic-
tatorship of Gen. Teodoro Obiang.
The open letter was released on the Facebook page of Juan
Tomás Ávila Laurel, a few hours José Bono Martínez arrive at
Malabo, capital of Equatorial Guinea for an official visit by a
Spanish parliamentary delegation. It is applied to the Presi-
dent of the Spanish parliament to make “pressure to be formed
in Equatorial Guinea a transitional government that is not part
of anyone who has held political office over the past 32 years.”
Laurel adds: “We can not continue to live under a dictatorship
which consumes the soul.”
Teodoro Obiang came to power in 1979, assumed the presi-
dency last month the African Union and has aspirations to join
the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP). His
regime has been marked by human rights violations which trig-
gered protests from Juan Tomas Laurel, one of the best known
writers of Equatorial Guinea, author of works such as “cargo” or
“Nothing has a good reputation in this country.”
The text is a criticism of the visit of Jose Bono Martinez,
who caused controversy in Spain, but rather a call. “Mr. Bono,
the only thing we want is to get that Obiang, his son Teodorín,
First Lady Constance, his brothers and cousins generals and
colonels who hold this unspeakable power, get an asylum in a
safe country. We believe that a third of the money saved abroad
by giving them only one to live up to the rest of his days. “
Juan Tomas Laurel often participates in conferences in U.S.
universities on Spanish language and literature and is author
of a blog on the digital magazine “FronteraD” entitled “Ma-
labo”, which addresses issues relating to living in Equatorial
Guinea. In his letter he gives a warning to the president of the
Spanish Parliament. “It’s not fair to leave my life in your hands,
but I have to recognize that what happens to it will largely de-
pend on you.”
