INTRODUCTION :-

Information about PR :-

The main goal of the public relation department to enhance the


company’s reputation. Staff that work in public relation, or as it is
commonly known, PR are skilled publicity. They are able to present
accompany or individual to the world in the best light. The role of the
public relation department can be seen as a public protector.

The business world of today is extremely competitive.


Companies need to have an edge that makes them more appealing and
interesting to both the public and the media. The public are the buyers of
the product and media are the responsible for selling it.

The public relation provides the service for the company by


helping to give the public and the media a better understanding of how
the company works. Within the company, public relation can also come
under the title of public information or customer relation. This department
assist customer if they have any problem with the company. They are
usually the most helpful department, as they exist to show the company
at their best.

PR also help to the company to achieve its full potential. They


provide feedback to the company from the public. This usually takes the
form of research regarding what areas the public is most happy and
unhappy with.
Following broad areas :-

1) Medias Relation
2) Government Relation
Definitions :-

An earlier definition of Public Relation on (by the first world


Assembly of Public Relation Association held in Mexico City in
August 1978)

“Public Relation is the art of social sciences of analyzing


trends, predicting their, consequences counseling organizational
leaders & implementing planned program of action, which will seine
both the organization & the public interest.”
OBJECTIVES OF PROJECT :-

 This project will consider/based on following objectives.

i) To take review of profiles and developmental stages of Arena


Animation Institute .
ii) To analyze the information collected and throw light on
interpretation.
iii) Criteria regarding improvement of PR policy.
iv) To know the concept of PR and it’s different aspects.
v) To explain the different Criteria of good public relation policy.
SCOPE OF PROJECT :-

The researcher ( Trunal R. Ahire ) has selected, “Arena Animation


Institute” this subject for project under ‘C’ Component subject. PR
practices and applications, the scope of the subject is PR or PR policies
of the institute. So, the scope of this subject is only study PR policy of
this institute. There are administrative, financial, marketing, advertising,
welfare, human resources, aspect of the study, the topic of the present
subject is strictly related with PR. So, the scope of this project is study of
PR policies only.
PROJECT METHODOLOGY :-

Project Methodology has it’s own significance because


methodology indicates different methods and logic used by researcher to
complete his project . The methodology is related with the collection of
data. The researcher will use following methods of data collection.

A) Primary Source of Data Collection :-

ii) Interview

iii) Observation

iv) Schedule

B) Secondary Source of Data Collection :-

i) Dictionary / encyclopaedia

ii) Reference Book

iii) Annual Report of the Organisation

iv) Policy Document

v) Articles from magazines / newspapers, etc.

vi) Information from website.


IMPORTANCE :-

a) Project create greater awareness of the social cultural and


natural environment required for modern developing and fast
changing humanity.

b) To study the practical approach by the student and it helps them


in future.

c) To develop appropriate communication skill needed for modern


life.

d) To provide pre-employment knowledge and skill suited to


different situations.

e) To enable student to have ‘on the job’ training by visiting the


industry.
