I first learned of Campbell Mithun from my professor, who mentioned the initiative of your company
and recommended that I inquire about both job opportunities and internships. I graduated from the
University of Minnesota, Duluth with a Bachelor Degree in Communication. My cognate area of
study focused on (social) media research. I am prepared to bring an unusual level of passion, energy,

I have worked extensively with two professors at UMD as the lead research assistant where my duties
consisted of designing research experiments, collecting data, writing and editing manuscripts, and
completing various tasks assigned to me. I took co-lead in investigative research for an iPod and
Cognition study that was recently published in the Journal of Applied Communication Research. In
contributing to the body of research in theory advancement, I have learned to efficiently tackle the
role as lead principal but also work cohesively in group scenarios. My experience from a research
standpoint and knowledge of social media makes me a diverse applicant for your company. Aside
from experience, I have a thirst for brand knowledge and passion for dissecting the consumer-brand
relationship.

The skills I have acquired thus far make me an ideal candidate for an internship. I have exceptional
written and verbal communication skills. I am self-motivated and highly driven to succeed. I thrive
on challenges. I work best under pressure and with deadlines. I excel at multi-tasking while keeping
exceptionally organized. I am a fast learner and quick adaptor. As an addition to your team I would
add a fresh, creative mind that would be invaluable to the pioneering agency Campbell Mithun has
built. I consistently push to create unique and desirable work and am eager to demonstrate my
passion for this industry and my desire to learn from the best.
