PREVENTION
HAND CARE :
SKIN CARE : prevention of cracks &
fissures
 soaking hand in water for 15 minutes.
 rubbing palm vigorously.
 smear hand with paraffin/ neem/ castor
oil
INJURY CARE :
Use of protective aid-gloves,thick towels.
Precautions while cooking,eating
Use of utensils with insulinated handles.
After work rest the hands for 15-30
minutes.
Swelling in the hand – bulky bandage &
resting in the sling for 24-72hrs.
LEG CARE : Skin & injury care
long walk restricted-(>20-
30minutes)
protected footwears.

NASAL CARE : not to prick nose & remove

crusts.
regular irrigation & washing
smear nostril with liquid paraffin
EYE CARE :
 Use of sunglasses,eye shades.
 Use of atropine, antibiotics or ointments.
