Selected SUMMER Fellows for 2011

 More  than  400  II  and  III  year  undergraduates  and  M.E./M.  Tech.  students  in  mechanical 
engineering applied to this programme. 
 The  SUMMER  fellows  were  selected  by  faculty  of  the  department  based  on  their  academic 
record,  aptitude  for  research,  special  abilities  and  accomplishments,  and  area(s)  of  research 
interests. Diversity among the selected candidates and the match in the research interests of 
the faculty adviser and students were also used as criteria when all other things were equal. 
 There were many excellent candidates and choosing a few among them was tough. 
 The list of selected candidates and the assigned faculty advisers is as follows. 
 Some more names will be added to the list during the week of March 1st, 2011. So, watch 
this page daily throughout the first week of March, 2011. 
 Those whose names appear are requested to send their acceptance by March 10th, 2011. The 
names will be taken off the list if acceptance is not received before that.
