Pancakes

Ingredients
• 100g plain flour
• Pinch of salt
• 1 egg
• 300 ml milk
• 1 tablsp. sunflower oil
Equipment
• Mixing bowl
• Pan
• Ladle
• Measuring jug
• Weighing scales
• Spatula
• Sieve
Method
1. Sift the flour and salt into a mixing bowl.
2. Crack the egg into centre; add the oil and half
the milk.
3. Mix the ingredients slowly and beat well to make a smooth batter. Stir in
the rest of the milk. (or use electric hand mixer)
4. Leave to stand for about 30 minutes, stir again before using
5.Lightly grease the pan with oil and then
ladle in enough batter to coat the base of
the pan thinly (about 2 tablsp.), tilting
the pan so the mixture spreads evenly.
6.Cook over a moderate heat for 1-2
minutes and flip the pancake over with a
spatula and cook the second side.
