    CANNERY INFORMATION – As of February 2011

    In 2011 our stake is the agent stake over the WET PACK canning of 14,000 cases
    of tomato sauce for the Bishop’s Storehouse.
    The dates for the stake are: March 17th, April 22nd and October 12th
    Times are 12 – 3 pm; 3 – 6 pm:, and 6 – 9 pm.

    Dry pack cannery: No assignments for the Maple Valley Stake in 2011.

    Individuals who want to do canning may contact Bro. or Sis. Rigley at 253-850-
    6392. The dry canning order form is online at providentliving.org

    On Tuesdays from 10 am until 6 pm the following items are available for purchase
    at the cannery: bulk items (25 lb), pre-canned red wheat, rice, and pinto beans
    and food storage starter kits.

    Currently the church encourages us to have on hand a 3-month supply of foods


    that we normally eat. Items that last 20-30 years can be done at the cannery.
