What is social network?
Wikipedia definition-A social network is a social
structure made of individuals (or organizations) called
"nodes," which are tied (connected) by one or more specific
types of interdependency, such as friendship, kinship,
financial exchange, dislike or relationships of beliefs,
knowledge or prestige
Social networking is the grouping of individuals into
specific groups, like small rural communities or a
neighborhood subdivision, if you will.
Mobile social network

Mobile social networking is social networking


where one or more individuals of similar interests or
commonalities, conversing and connecting with one
another using the mobile phone. Much like web based
social networking, mobile social networking occurs in
virtual communities
Social networking sites (SNS)

since then a number of similar applications have appeared
and are now among the most popular Internet sites.
