“Training is the systematic development of the knowledge, skills and


attitude (KSA) required by an individual to perform adequately a given task
or job”
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
ACTIVITIES:
 Activities designed to improve skills, abilities, and knowledge of individuals or
groups.
 Training in isolation vs. training in work groups
 Training for technical skills vs. interpersonal competence.
 The activities directed toward
 responsibilities & functions of group members,
 leadership issues,
 conflict resolution,
 team building,
 decision making,
 problem solving,
 goal setting and planning, and so forth.
