    The most senior Republican Congressman, Chairman Young, expresses his concern, in writing, about the eligibility of Barack Obama to be President. He names a pending bill, H.R. 1503, which, if passed into Law, will help America avoid such heinous crime in the future, by requiring that a Birth Certificate be presented by potential Presidential candidates. The Gentleman is to be commended, as he is the first of Connerat's elected Officials to publicly take a stand, while Fools continue to bury their heads in the sand...not caring that every day, they give a little more Freedom away.

    to become President of the United States based on his parents citizenship stahlS.

    Because of your interest in this regard, you will be pleased to learn of H. R. 1503, a measure that
    would have amended the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 to require the principal
    campaign committee of a candidate for election to the office of President to include with the
    committee's statement of organization a copy of the candidate's birth certificate, together with
    such other documentation as may be necessary to establish that the candidate meets the
    qualifications for eligibility to the Office of President.

    Unfortunately, the Congress adjourned without completing action on H.R. 1503. As a result, this
    h
    particular measure will have to be reintroduced sometime during the 11 i Congress, which has
    already convened. In the meantime, please know that I will keep your concerns about the
    citizenship status of President Obama in mind.
