History! My name is Nick Bur-
gess, and I am excited about
the opportunity to get to
know you. I am looking for-
ward to a happy and produc-
tive school year.
Curriculum: Areas we will fo-
cus on this semester include
Ancient Mesopotamia, An-
cient Greece, the Roman Em-
pire, Medieval Age, the Ren-
aissances, and the Enlighten-
ment.
Supplies: Paper (college rule),
pencils, pens, 3” binder with
dividers.
Homework policy: 10% is de-
ducted for everyday that the
homework is late.

Class policies: Every student is
expected to come to class pre-
pared and ready to learn.
Homework is expected to be
completed by the time class
starts. Electronic devices such
as cell phones and Ipods are
strictly prohibited in the class-
