The regular meeting of the Hughesville Borough Council was called to order by Council President Fritz Newhart, followed by
the Pledge of Allegiance.

Mike/Sheila Palmeter, Bob Simmons, James Karschner, Marlene Hileman, Andy Mook, Bill Senseman,
Bob Baker, Rick Smith, Curt Michael, Shawna Turner and Craig McKibben (Sun-Gazette), Walter Reed
Dave McConnell ± said that the Water Authority does not want to pay the 2% administrative fee for payroll; they would prefer to
pay a flat rate.

6:44 PM a motion was make to go into a closed session by Bob Carichner, seconded by Tom Eddy

8:03 PM Re-opening the session, Bob Carichner moved, Tom Eddy seconded. Motion passed.

A motion was made to accept a 5 year Police Chief contract by Bob Carichner, seconded by Tom Eddy. Motion passed
