This revolutionary machine is the latest in CD and DVD repair technology. Ithas been designed to effectively repair all formats of discs by removing scratches that affect the reading of a CD or DVD. It comes with a full 12-month warranty and is proudly Australian made. 5 THE DISC WIZARD INSTRUCTION MANUAL The Dise Wizard Series 3 is now fitted with a user-friendly microprocessor controller. To help further understand these features and functions, please read the following carefully. SAFETY FEATURES If the lid is opened during a cycle the motor de-activates, if this occurs a single beep will be emitted and a ‘LO’ will be displayed on the key pad. If the start button is pushed without selecting a cycle time, a single beep will be emitted and ‘OO" will flash twice on the key pad. If the controller registers a power supply problem or an obstruction in the repair compartment, the machine will switch into reset mode. A single beep will then be heard and ‘OL’ will be displayed on the screen. To reset the Disc Wizard, open and shut the lid, Once ‘OO” is displayed the cycle time can then be reselected. > THE DISC WIZARD INSTRUCTION MANUAL GETTING STARTED Place the Disc Wizard in a position that does not interfere with the air vents on either the lid or sides of machine. THE POWER SUPPLY VOLTAGE WARNING Before connecting the Disc Wizard to a power source, be sure that the voltage supplied is the same as the rating on the machine (10AMP 230 - 240 Volts). If you are unsure of the voltage rating of your power source, please contact your nearest licensed electrician. Please Note: Using a power source less or more than the recommended rating will affect the terms and conditions of the warranty. Plug your Dise Wizard into a power point that is not overloaded with other electrical appliances. The Oe Wit Gas THE DISC WIZARD INSTRUCTION MANUAL Ri emer Ideally, the Dise Wizard should have a power point all of its own. This ensures that sufficient power is constantly supplied to the machine. Overloading the power point may interrupt the power supply causing the ‘machine to malfunction. If the Dise Wizard overloads, the screen will display OL. To reset the machine, lift and close the lid and then reselect the time. Possible reasons {for this to occur can be due to the over application of the polishing ‘compound. This can cause the motor to stall. (For further details see the Step-by-Step Guide to Polishing Discs) The connection of the Dust Extraction Unit, Power supply and Vacuum plug is shown below. a The Dust extraction unit will automatically activate only on the 30 second sanding cycle.
