    Q1. (a) If + = then find the value of x.

    (b) Find n if n-1P3 : nP4 = 1: 9.

    Q2. (a) In how many of the distinct permutation of the letters in MISSISSIPPI do the
    four I’s not come together and explain.

    (b) Find n if 2nC3 : nC3 = 11 : 1.

    Q3. How many 6-digit number can be formed from the digits 0,1,3,5,7and 9 which
    are divisible by 10 and no digit is repeated ? also explain.

    Q.4. Ten cards numbered 1 to 10 are placed in a box, mixed up thoroughly and then
    one card is drawn randomly. If it is known that the number on the drawn card is more
    than 3, what is the probability that it is an even number ?

    Q 5. A die is thrown three times. Event A and B are defined as below :

    A: 4 on the third throw

    B : 6 on the first and 5 on the second throw

    Find the Probability of A given that B has already occurred.

    Q 6. (a) Two cards are drawn at random and without replacement from a pack of 52
    cards . Find the probability that both the cards are black.

    (b) A bag contains 4 red , 3 blue and 2 white balls. If three balls are drawn one by
    one(without replacement) , what is the probability that all the three balls are red ?
