ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES OF HOD

 The HOD has overall responsibility for all staff in the department.
 To ensure that all College policies and regulations are communicated to,
and complied by, all members of the department

 To provide leadership, direction and motivation to those staff for whom


the HOD is directly responsible, and to ensure that they clearly understand
their responsibilities
 Compliance of University Procedure
 Regular interaction with Registrar office regarding timely submission of internal
accessement , project report etc.
 Ensure that the faculty reach in class before the commencement of the class
 Ensure that attendance of students are regularly updating on ERP
 Alternating arrangement of classes in case of absenting any faculty
 Suspension of student/Disciplinary actions
 Conducting and Organizing Sessional examination .
 Super visioning the faculty worksheet
 Ensuring on-time result declaration and Conducting PTM as per schedule
