Government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs) are a stock or non-stock corporations


established by a special charter or law for the interest of everyone and subject to the test of
economic viability. It is owned or controlled by the government directly, or indirectly through a parent
corporation or a subsidiary corporation. The GOCCs are directly under the Government Corporate
Monitoring and Coordinating Committee which is responsible to monitor, coordinate, and conduct
performance of all GOCCs.

With the recent controversies happening inside the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage
System or MWSS, people are asking, what are the other GOCCs that we still don't know that might
have the same situation as the former? Do the other GOCCs have the same misused of government
funds for different bonuses and other controversies? Below is the complete list of GOCCs and
their respective websites. Their performance, however, is not monitored by this blog.
