To analyze the series-parallel circuits, the
steps are similar to those in pure series or
pure parallel circuits.
1. Find RT; (Two Approaches to simply the circuit
structure)
2. Find VT or IT;
3. Based the characteristics of series and parallel
paths (the previous slide), find the required
currents and voltages;
