This artifact is a copy of an email between my second placement (middle school) cooperating
teacher Gary Pinkerton discussing my materials that were to be used for the next week. This
email containsPowerPoints, handouts, and other documents that I would be using in class.
Mr. Pinkerton offered me feedback and some ideas about how to improve my instruction for
the following week.

This meets the Telecommunication and Information Access standard because it demonstrates
how instructional information is passed between student teacher and cooperative teacher.
Throughout my placement, I was instructed to email my materials for the following week to
Mr. Pinkerton during the weekend so that he could advise me on ways to improve my
instruction or materials. In many cases, my materials were sufficient, but he was able to offer
me constructive feedback via email or even text messaging when appropriate.

This artifact shows how I communicate with my coworkers about classroom activities. Today,
we rely on email and other forms of communication to express our ideas about instruction and
other school related business. These emails show that I am able to effectively communicate
with other professional in order to improve the educational process.
