ECM congratulates ABET Achievers

On 4 May 2011 Samancor Eastern Chrome Mines
(ECM) celebrated the success of their ABET
achievers. A total of 44 learners received certificates.
Ananias Zeferino achieved his level 4 on ABET, 15
learners achieved level 1, 19 learners achieved level 2
and 9 learners achieved level 3. Ananias motivated his
fellow ABET students to persist with their ABET
studies. He highlighted that when he started with
ABET, he was not able to read English, nor able to
write in English. On completion of his Level 4 ABET
studies, he now speaks and writes English with
confidence.
ECM management congratulated all the students and
encouraged them to keep up the good work. It was
emphasized that ABET studies opens many doors for
further studies and the possibility of entering
learnerships.
