CTCL Terminal Details

In terms of provision of Rules, Bye-laws and Business rules of the Exchange, the
members of the Exchange are hereby notified as under:
Exchange vide circular no.MCX/566/2006 dated December 19, 2006 has informed the
members regarding Version no.7.0 of the Exchange trading software which include,
interalia, a feature regarding “terminal information of CTCL and TWS (applicable for
CTCL users only)” . By virtue of the above software the terminal information of the
CTCL can be captured in the order itself.
It is observed that some members are not using this facility. All the members are hereby
advised to use the said functionality provided in the software.
All the members are required to provide terminal details (15 digits) containing following
information in the given sequence for all trading terminal IDs under the CTCL ID trading
through CTCL server.
1. Pin code of the CTCL terminal location (six digits)
2. Branch ID of the CTCL terminal location (three digits)
3. Running serial number of trading terminal Id, under the CTCL Id within the branch
(three digits)
4. Last three digits should be 000.
For example:
“For a CTCL terminal located at Andheri, Mumbai 400 093, where the Branch ID
allocated by the trading member is 015 and the running serial number of terminal Id
within the branch is 001.
Then the CTCL terminal information will be 400093015001000.”
Members are required to comply with the requirement of providing CTCL terminal
information along with their order request sent by CTCL software as mentioned above
latest by February 29, 2008, failing which, Exchange may initiate appropriate disciplinary
action including monetary penalty.
Members are requested to contact their CTCL vendors for implementation details.
Members are requested to take note of the same.
