General review of the week

Having had a few consistent days in Foundation after a long absence, GB has
started to settle back into teaching in this age range. GB is struggling with some
aspects of returning to the EYFS after a long and enjoyable period in KS1 and

KS2, but feedback from EW’s observation yesterday was helpful. EW stated that
GB needed to achieve a more even balance between child initiated and adult
initiated, and provide more scope for assessment for the EYFS profiles.
During a team-planning meeting, the details for next terms topics were
confirmed. GB will teach a CLL literacy-based session with the focus upon mini-
beasts.
